This sturdy windproof tombstone is foam and plywood. We call this one the vampire's grave or Dracula's tombstone for fun. The pretend legend dates back to when Jeana was a small girl. Her father told her about the old vampire who once lived in the spooky haunted house on the hill. This creepy cemetery tombstone Halloween decor was a new addition to the Winchester Mystery House Unhinged haunted attraction. We made it using sturdy plywood covered with Styrofoam. After we carved the foam into a detail cross, we hard coated the outside of the sculpture with an epoxy resin and added a concrete spray texture. We then faux painted the gravestone with minimal aging because we didn't want the graveyard to old and abandoned, looking in the daytime walkthrough.

Yes we will. We were so busy last year with life and the build we honestly didn't have time to make our regular videos. We're hoping to have some usual content soon.

Gina, sorry about your dad. I am happy you both recreated this memory as a kind of tribute to your dad. You both have been long time inspirations to my haunt of 25 years now. That tombstone looks so authentic to the original and i look forward to seeing it in your haunts. Connor has the coolest parents! 💕🙂🙏🏻

I make grave markers from concrete and wood forms. Some are for beloved pets. No need to faux finish them. Nature does a good job. I think people are apprehensive about walking down our long drive through the woods. Could be the markers, the grotesques or the gargoyles. Unfortunately, we rarely get any trick or treaters. Such a shame. I mean, we are always ready with full sized candy bars.

This is a great looking tombstone... I like the mystery of it... your dad reminds me a little of mine that would tell tales of the spooky! and made Halloween and haunting all that more fun! I'm sorry to hear of your loss, as I've learned with such losses, they live on in our hearts and memories.

Just for future if you didn't know this trick, there is a gear symbol that appears on every video. You can click on it and go to playback speed you can slow down a video or speed it up. We do this all the time and now have time to get the longer videos we want to watch in 😊

Gina my condolences on the loss of your father. I'm in MN, just near I90, so southern mn. Would it be ok with you if I recreated my version of your version of the Dracula tombstone? Many years ago I also made a tombstone to honor my dad, so I get it & would love to honor your dad's vampire story. If so would you like me to do or say anything specific on it?
