Halloween Ghost Town Home Haunt | Haunted Western Theme Decorating Ideas | Display Walkthrough

Check out our Halloween haunted ghost town facades in the light of day to see all the detail. This video shares old western mining town themed Halloween yard haunt. The theme was an old abandoned western mining ghost town called "Grave Rock Gulch" The haunted old west town was complete with an Undertaker Facade, Train Depot Facade, Dentist and Barber Shop Facade, an Old Spanish Mission Facade, Hotel and Saloon Facade, Southwestern Jail, General Store Facade, an Old Mine Shaft Facade, Water Tower, working Water Wheel, and Mining Area with Sluice. There are several static, motorized and animated props as well as pneumatic air powered props hiding around the town. There was a gold panning for body parts station for the little ones in the fully functioning mining area. We designed the haunt to make people feel as though they just walked into a little spooky ghost town straight out of a cartoon. All the scenery and many of the props were designed, handmade, modified, and painted by the two of us. Some of the props we had this year were a motorized kicking legs stuck in a wood coffin, a hidden air cannon inside a travel trunk, a pneumatic train station ticket stamper, a pop up dead customer of the town barber, several sculpted foam props like cactus, a giant tooth, motorized bell, working 3 tier fountain, working hand water pump, a detonating box for the mine, plaster castings of skulls, a pneumatic thrashing hangman, Several store goods like crates, jars, and supplies left and abandoned, and what western town isn't complete with out a farting town drunk in the jail cell. We have posted several videos of the construction and fabrication process during the course of 2013 so be sure to check out our channel for anything of interest to you see in the haunt. It was a ton of work but we really had a blast putting all this together and thank all our supporters who have followed us along the way. HEEEHAAW!

Wow. Wow. WOW! That's simply awesome. The attention to detail is incredible. Sure we saw it being built, we had the night-time walk thru, and even the tear down, but seeing it all again, all together, in the day time, and looking at the layer upon layer of detail and accent you put on the sets is truly awe-inspiring. Of course, since it's all done for just one night of the year and you aren't going to do the same theme again means you're completely insane, but it's a mind-blowing achievement nevertheless and I can't wait to see this year's effort. You two are amongst the best, most creative haunters out there and you freely share your knowledge with the rest of us. Thanks for everything you do. I love you guys!

Hahaha LOL! We have to agree with you 100% on the insanity. There is definitely a certain degree of it among a lot of Holiday decorating enthusiasts. It's all about the enjoyment of creating, spending time together, and having fun for us. We are not alone in saying our fun just happens to be a massive amount of work. We have quite a bit of footage still and are trying to play catch up to posting it all. We have a few more night time shots we wanted to get out there that weren't used in the previous videos. We had planned on making an official night walk through video just to have it for the record so hopefully everyone isn't to tired of looking at it just yet. Everyone's support and nice comments add so much to the fun of all this for us. We thank you for your very kind words Mr. Ghoulish Cop =)

So even though we would love to keep each haunt we really have no place to store them. Selling them makes room for new haunts and we have fun creating new themes.
