Exactly. Enough is enough! “ he you don’t help them to bury the light, don’t give in w/out a fight”!!
Once you “get” Pink Floyd, you are in it for life. Welcome to our Floyd heaven.
Pink Floyd has some of the deepest lyrics of all time. Every song speaks to the human experience and really does move you . Their music is almost depressing in a good way .

The absolute genius of Roger Waters. And he's still speaking truth to power even today.
"Together we stand, divided we fall" has never been a more important statement then it is today.

I think it's relevant to so many things, particularly the Workers in the USA! We need to unionize the big companies. Amazon workers started a union, and Starbucks workers etc. So I try to stand with people (and love them) except for billionaires and fascists. Also I admire Roger Waters for his powerful anti-war voice. And anti-fascist. That's what The Wall is about, in part. (Also about mental illness etc)

But seems to me that we are more divided than ever, not least cuz of social media! Of all epic solos of Gilmour, this is my favorite 💯
The whole album absolute master piece.
Pink floyd Is everything
In the story this song is kind of a transition between him melting down (at end of side one) and accepting his place hidden behind his wall. There are two different personalities, one sung by Dave and one by Waters, but they are the same person talking to himself. One is behind the wall and one is outside.

I always thought that too but it was originally meant to be the end of side 3, after Comfortably Numb, once the metamorphosis takes place. In-story, he's considering everything around him and what led him here, then the struggle of not wanting to give in until he decides "the show must go on". Totally agree about David and Roger's voices being the contradicting aspects of personality. Each verse is a call out to specific groups of people in Pink's life.
Every Floyd song is a journey.
I been a fan since 78 when i only was 13,years yong and i still love them very much
If you are just discovering this, the album is called The Wall, and it's 1000% meant to be listened to from front to back. Do yourself a favor. This is the best album ever made.
If I had 1 album to choose if I could only listen to 1 my whole life it would be dark side of the moon by floyd . Just a masterpiece. Still on the charts after 50 years .floyd albums are just a music experience like no other.
Leart dark side of 🌙 has hit 50th 🎆
I was twenty when The Wall came out. I was in a progrock band. We listened to this album in high rotation with other music that most people didn't even know about. To put into words about the impact this album and Pink Floyd had on us would take too long to do it justice. I experienced things I had only dreamed of, and some things I had never imagined. All centered around creativity in music, art, media, philosophy, mysticism, and mixing in hippyness, sex, drugs and Rock'n Prog n Roll. Few knew about us, fewer remember us. Against all odds, I learned that; Belief Forfeits free will, while knowledge Empowers free will. Belief is fragile, Knowledge is permanent. Fear of the Unknown impairs us from finding the Knowable Truth. Thanks Pink Floyd. 🎶🎧✌ No Regrets.
Love this song!
Pink Floyd’s music is an experience along with a journey!❤️
Did you catch the line "Can you help me to carry the stone" ? Cast your mind back to the album Animals and the song Dogs, remember the Bad Blood Turns To Stone and will eventually drag you down. It's a great connection.
Always my favorite of their songs. I don't know why. It gets to me every time.
Pink Floyd was on a roll in the 70's with dark side of the moon, wish you were here, animals, and the wall
I was 9 when this album came out. I cut 3 yards grass for $5 each. I rode my bike to the record store and bought it.
JUST IMAGINE HOW MUCH WE WERE WASTED DURING THESE TIMES YOU GUYS 😊 MEMMMORRIEEEEEES! 😊

Best days ever. I was 10 in ‘64 so greedily lapped up the greatest era for music in history. Grateful for my time on this rock, wouldn’t swap for any other time ever.

The SOUL zone
My first concert was 1994 PinkFloyd at the old TampaBay Bucs stadium. I was 14 years old, I bought my older brother a ticket so he’d take me. Absolutely amazing music that’s even better live. Thank y’all for doing these videos. I love every kinda music (except new country). ❤

I saw the same tour at Giants Stadium. I was 17. My older brother didn’t make it out of the parking lot. Slept in the car the whole show! His girlfriend (now my sister in law) took me in to the show. Fun times!

The Floyd is not music... tis an experience
You ABSOLUTELY must listen to " The Machine" next from Pink Floyd! It is a masterpiece that is haunting & thrilling at the same time. Can I get a AMEN from fellow flood fans?

Great progressive rock band starting in the 60's. They are one of the best-selling music artists of all time & so are their albums "Wish You Were Here", "The Dark Side Of The Moon" & "The Wall". They have a huge library of music. Some of their big hits were "See Emily Play", "Money", "Echoes", "Another Brick In The Wall", "Not Now John", "On The Turning Away", "High Hopes", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" etc.

Incredible song!
Great reaction! Legendary song by a legendary band. 😉
The transition between "Hey You" and "Is There Anybody Out There?", includes a TV extract from the American series Gunsmoke. You can see this excerpt on KZread under the title: "Gunsmoke" dialogue used on side 3 of The Wall And between "Is There Anybody Out There?" and "Nobody Home", there is an excerpt from the series: Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. Great reaction to one of the diamonds in my favourite album Ever!! Since I first heard the whole experience of this album (and MOVIE) It was love at first listen and it remains my one album I'm allowed to take to the next life with me.
Daym, she looks like a queen!
THE WALL, IS WHAT WE ALL FACE
melhores músicas de sempre
Love yall
Oh you guys have to hear. Time
It's really instructional to watch the movie. It explains what the lyrics are all about. Pink Floyd was so good, you can apply the lyrics in many ways, but the writer's personal reasons are in the movie. The Wall movie is about his father going to war and never coming home, and the effects upon his life as he grew older.
David Gilmour is one of greatest guitarist of time!! 👍
Try Pink Floyd’s “When the Tiger Broke Free” lyrics version. Roger Waters wrote it about his father’s death in WWII.
Guess it's allready said, but this is probably the best concept album ever made. You should do the entire album.
Dudes and dudettes you guys need to watch the Wall live Streaming on Patreon

Hi Shawn and Mel, Great reaction.. Pink Floyd The Wall is a Awesome album and one of my favourites, If you get the chance, you should check out the movie " Pink Floyd The Wall " with Bob Geldof...It will blow your mind...Peace. from London England 😁👍🏻

Floyd's albums are conceptual so they SHOULD be listened to in their entirety to get their full meaning, but The Wall is a rock opera and must be listened to from beginning to end. Listening to Hey You out of context is like just listening to Cousin Kevin from Tommy and trying to make sense of it without knowing any of the story. This is why most Pink Floyd reaction videos seem disingenuous.
Is it just me or do people need to watch "The Wall" For a better understanding of all these psalms. They go in order
