Every time I watch you react to Pink Floyd, I can tell you absolutely love them. The best band ever. You would love doing a whole album, even if you have to make multiple videos to get it done. I'd recommend - uh, well any of them. Peace, my friend.

I swear Stan - I've been a PF listener and fan since The Wall came out when I was a freshman in high-school. This band and this song in particular never cease to pull me into them. If you have a good sound system or a good set of headphones, you can know every note in this song for 40+ years and it still shreds you.

Your reaction is what I felt when I first listened when I was 13. 36 years later, I am still going on that journey. Pay attention, as you said.

This song is one of a few off the album (my favorite of all time) that can be enjoyed out of context to the entire narrative. But surely it makes you want to hear the whole story? ❤❤❤ Gilmour on bass on this

Pink Floyd is a great English rock band formed in London in 1964. They became a leading band of the progressive rock genre. They are one of the best-selling music artists of all time. "Wish You Were Here", "The Dark Side Of The Moon" & "The Wall" are among the best-selling albums of all time. They have a huge library of music. Some of their hits were "The Great Gig In The Sky", "See Emily Play", "Mother", "Not Now John", "On The Turning Away", "High Hopes" etc.

I've seen a few Hey You reactions at this point... you didn't seem to have much of a reaction while listening, but your commentary afterwards has been the most insightful and introspective. You were truly appreciating the music so didn't interrupt. My favorite reaction so far

Hi Stan, have you reacted to any of Pink Floyd’s LIVE performances, especially from the PULSE CONCERT? Check out Comfortably Numb LIVE at the PULSE CONCERT. The extended guitar solo and spectacular light show combine for an unforgettable performance.

@@Lifewithstan2020You will enjoy seeing them live. All of the songs from Pulse are excellent. You will see 3 members of Pink Floyd from the 1960s performing live in 1994 at around age 50.

Stan, if you want to have the same transcendent, transportative experience I know you get from listening to Dark Side Of The Moon all the way through, then look no further than 'Echoes' (The studio version from their 'Meddle' album) and 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts 1-5) from their 'Wish You Were Here' album. I guarantee that when you listen to these (especially Echoes), your mind will be blown and I'm really looking forward to not only watching that happen as it happens, but also hearing everything you have to say about it afterwards. If you're able to speak, that is. Keep up the great work, man, your reactions are excellent.

When this came out I would listen to this front to back with headphones LOUD. The Movie is a MUST watch for you now if you want the entire story. (You won't need drugs but it won't hurt) 😎 Happy belated 4/20+

Great listening to you, Stan - takes me right back to 1980 and all the conversations we had with our friends about these guys. There were literally university classes in lit and philosophy schools that focused on the music of Pink Floyd around that time. They were a phenomena that hit on several levels. They will last, like Mozart, for centuries.

You really should listen to "The Wall" album in one sitting. I doubt you could react to the whole album at once. The whole album tells an epic story. There is also a movie "The Wall" which pretty much copies the album. Both the movie and album take you on a serious trip. Reading up on it might be a good idea too.

I think you meant a Philosophy professor or better still, a real Philosopher. A music professor would probably only know the rigid rules and oppressions of music theory..... and very little about life and / or the human species. lol
