The concept album is not going to be as easy to do now that songs are downloaded individually, though radio stations have always played just a few songs per album. I agree we're probably never going to see something produced which compares well with Pink Floyd.

@@floridaphil3394 Tool is good. But, with all due respect, Pink Floyd is in a class by itself. There is really no comparison. "The dark side of the moon" was released in 1973 and still ranks as one of the top albums of all time almost forty years later. I hope Tool can reach the same milestone with their work.

You get it! Above all else, Pink Floyd's music has this eerie ability to draw emotion and thoughts up from your subconscious. These will be as unique for each person as their fingerprints. It is this 'personal' nature of the band's music that makes it so special for so many people. Great reaction! Send more Pink Floyd!

Consider the album, "The Wall" is a book and every song contained in it is just a section, or chapter of the story. Listening to these songs individually is like watching a TV mini series out of order. Very hard to see the continuity of the story as a whole. GOOD LUCK!

Agree. Life changes the day you listen to the wall the old fashioned way - end to end on a beanbag with headphones in a dark room.... baked. That realisation that the whole is so much greater than the sum of its parts and you start a lifelong journey of trying to unpack the thing. I swear I have listened to it a quite a few hundred times and more or less know it by heart yet hidden layers are still clicking for me 30 years later. It's truly one of the greatest rock operas of all time.

I was gonna say something similar...she is missing out by only listening to individual songs out of order. True...she is "reacting" to individual songs, so there is that and it can't be helped. But Girl, when you get the chance you should sit down, put on your headphones and listen to the entire album in one sitting. React to ALL the songs individually first if you have to, but you are missing out otherwise!

I respect the fact that as someone who hasn't grown up with Pink Floyd you've been open-minded enough to listen to multiple tracks, they're not a band you can fully 'get' by listening to just one song, their back catalogue is very varied and many of the songs are rather complex. To get the full impact of the songs on The Wall album it is worth listening to it from start to finish, even if you do it just once, because it's like watching a film - the emotion builds to a finale. It's not a comfortable experience but it's the only way to properly appreciate what is essentially a work of art.

(not too shabby) Heads up, each track transitions into the next (hence doing it in track order) Track 1 is a really short intro into 2 and the album. Pink Floyd the Wall. To listen to an individual song is like only listening to part of a conversation, it’s out of context. The Wall album is a song story you have to listen from start to finish. But great reaction

They can take the wisdom teeth out of the girl but they can't take the wisdom. Nice reaction and interpretation. As far as your swelling goes I didn't notice because I haven't gotten past those blue eyes yet. Hope you feel better! Oh and listen to "Mother" from The Wall when you get a chance.

please react to Pink floyd - High hopes. This song will pull your soul out like Hey You. Nightwish covered High Hopes too and It's great as well. I'd say You can make a comparison video about those two versions.

Although all the tracks on the Wall album stand alone and can be heard for what they are, the album at the end of the day is really one long song in parts. Glad you enjoyed it. just as well it is familiar to me because the levels were too low to hear properly.

"The Wall" is not psychedelic rock. It's symphonic rock.

There are only about 3 songs in the album that have a symphonic accompaniment; doesn’t really make it a symphonic rock album. The Wall is prog rock. It’s practically the definition of prog rock.

You're the reason I enjoy reaction videos. I saw them 4 times in the 70s, and everyone reacts the same way. You literally can not help yourself. Come down the rabbit hole.
