Ok, c'mon, that interview was superb. I love how spontaneous, relaxed, and short answer the format was. Maybe you guys can make a habit of doing these with various pros. I'd watch them all.

Wouldn't be surprised if a big part of it was also because of how cool Van Der Poel seems to be. Great guy!

It is so great to see that MVDP, despite winning so many races, is such a nice and modest guy.

Kudos to Mathieu. He was a very good sport and very kind and diplomatic in his responses.

He has good character as well as being a legend on the bike.👏🏻

I interviewed MvDP after he won a stage of the Tour of Britain in Kendal. He had just ridden across the country and sprinted up the fearsome "Beast Banks" to win the stage in Kendal, Cumbria. He was on the turbo trainer warming down and it was as though he had just done a leisurely Sunday afternoon jaunt. I stuck a microphone in his face and he was very polite and happy to talk. It's only when you get close to these guys that you realise how fit they are. I could feel the power radiating from him!

Kudos to Si "Lone Wolf" Richardson for carrying another GCN show solo. Dan will hopefully be back next week to help Mr. "Wolf" figure out his right arm from his left for the Hack or Bodge intro.

I thought the worst day had to be the mountain bike race at Olymia.

wow mvdp is more thoughtful than I would have anticipated a younger pro to be.

It used to be Ollie but he doesn't presents much lately and Manon does all the track so you are absolutely right

Crazy, but not completely terrible

Cool to see the power generating trainer become a commercial thing. We built our own using recycled parts and an old alternator. So satisfying to ride and power the laptop, charge a phone etc...

Y'all really asked the guy who was better, him or Wout Van Aert 🤣 I think that was the most stressful question. 😅

The most impressive thing about the MVdP interview is not that he so amiably dealt with Lloydy's inane questions but that he was doing so while cooling down and probably 400 watts.

Recently new to drop bar bikes alway rode BMX and MTB bought a Gbike 4 years ago and love it. don’t really get the road bike/rim brake/leg shave/Lycra scene but I’m a massive fan of MVDP cx videos, lads got skills. Funny how he didn’t get the English sense of humour questions 😁 Tenner on him winning gravel WC.

MvdP intereview was a nice surprice

I could have really used the quick link holder (twice) because the link that came with my KMC X11 chains simply didn't fit, no matter what tools I used. That would have helped.

Very cool tech and made right for our quarantine here in HongKong as a air purifier is required in your room if you want to be allowed to use your trainer …

With those stunt pegs, you could put your feet up on the descents.

Peak up/peak down..... depends on the weather! Wet or low sun - peak down otherwise up..... mostly!
