Hahah, thanks for watching.

You know, it’s not often a game movie can make you glad you are experiencing a game’s story whilst also making you glad that you’re not actually playing said game, but we happy few seems to have done it. The writers and voice actors deserve a round of applause but good god how many times can one game make you fetch something that will allow someone to give you something else that you need to get into another place that has the thing you need to get somewhere else? If it wasn’t for the constant involuntary sidetracks, Arthur’s story would be 10 minutes long.

THey say the gameplay sucks, and yet... it has a really good story to tell. I hope this world gets revived one day, with the money and vision to prop it back up.

I'm just glad that even if it didn't do well. The devs of the game did their damnedest to keep the story going. Obviously, the game is done with now. Finished as far as it can go. So it will need a 2nd full game to even touch on a story for another one. But that does make me wonder. The mother of the lady who runs everything and the daughter of the general said that Wellington Wells is just one city in a sea of them being flooded with Joy. If I had to guess what a second one would even remotely be like. I imagine half our caste we know of here will be involved in a possible next one. Ollie obviously is going back to Scotland (though he may also join depending on if he is even able to remember how to get there). Plus, it would be nice to see every one of the major members get involved in liberating not just Wellington Wells. Wouldn't also surprise me if Wellington is probably by far the easiest to liberate as it was possibly one of the few major hubs of Joy production. While the others could very well double security and have their own genius scientists finally make the abominations and horrible machines they wanted prior.

Lightbearer is random dude that tripping on joy. That is canon, I don't care what anyone say.

Wow, now this is one freekin weird game movie. I loved it. Kind of has the flavor of Deadly Premonitions which was another strange game.

Very interesting, never played it because I don't have time too anymore but didn't know you play as different characters. That music guy reminded me a lot of Austin powers, even the girl lol but yeah, strange but intriguing, thank you for taking the time to do this upload!

I like how throughout all of Arthurs story, he thinks the main person to blame is the poor guard who was only trying to do good by not sending him on the train. But it turns out at the end, he was the reason Percy went on that train. He is the reason everything bad has ever happened to him. And is the reason everything had happens to those around him.

Lmao at 3:20:54 did you guys see that old lady just come up out of the street and walked right into Sally's house lmao....I was like....the hell....why are you forcing your way into Sally's house lmao....at first I thought the old lady was there for the BlackBerry Joy and that everyone just knew Sally had finished making it lmao...and @Gamer's Little Playground had to shut the door lmao to keep other intruders outside lmao.....

Thank you for this very well made video! This game was weird but had a great story!

Kinda feel bad for not getting the game now. The story is amazing, just a shame the gameplay doesn't really hold up.

Yeah, This game needs a sequel with the money to create better gameplay. It’s got great story that rivals RDR2 for me, but way shittier gameplay.

im not sure if its still going to happen, but back in 2018 they announced a movie adaptation and to my knowledge its still in the works

@@JNJNRobin1337 yeah they have a post about it on their instagram page. im not sure if its still in the works though, it was posted a couple years ago and they havent said anything since. but i think itd work so great as a movie, i really hope they still make one

Glad I could watch the game's story instead of playing it. Seems the endless fetch quests were tedious. Also, not even your well-edited version could escape the game's many bugs.

I think if the game ran like it did in Victoria's DLC, a smaller more streamlined world with better fighting, the game would have been so much better to play. Maybe leaned more towards how the BioShock series was gameplay wise? A big world but still managable to explore. Combine that with the amazing story, lore and characters it already has and the game would have been a success.

Hope the devs of We Happy Few weren't disheartened by the game's flop. The story is pretty well done, honestly if they released it as a movie or book, it'd possibly be a hit, it's just a bummer that gameplay is only skin deep with fetch quests kilometers apart from one another and assets being randomly generated to the point that physics doesn't know how to deal with it.

forgot how much of a pos arthur was. not only what he did to percy but blaming sally for what his father did to her. he’s a well written character but yeah, horrible person.

Does this game still crash alot on the Ps4? I played WHF YEARS ago. And it crashed 7-10 times! It even crashed when I used a Vending Machine! So is WHF fixed due to patches or is it STILL crash heavy?

I was really eager to play the game and I started it, but after I met the gameplay I decided to watch the walkthrough instead. Gameplay literally does not fit the whole concept of this game. But I like graphics and style, I love story and lore, I love Arthur's voice and all the characters! I wanted they'd made just simple linear gameplay like Batman or something. Right now it's more like Fallout/Skyrim gameplay, that is really unwanted to play in this game.

I wish the people behind this game rather did TV show, The sickening amount of times player is not alowed a choice makes it clear they have no interest in games and just wanted a liniear non-interactive story to be made.
