Yes, the editing to make this video was good. Too bad Bioware made an absolute GARBAGE of a game though. Ruined the ME franchise. Zero reason to leave the Milky Way, to abandon the countless stories they couldve gone with from any or the first 3 games. Instead deciding to make this dumpster fire of an unrelated experience in the Andromeda Galaxy... 🙄 poor choice EA.... poor choice

@@burjalmadre The biggest shame is that so many people piled on to the launch problems of the game and soured the experience for most. ME:A had a rough launch. Many hardcore fans were unable to let go of the Shephard story line. Others got hung up on visual/animation bugs. And the game itself was unpolished, partly due to time constraints, but also because EA forced Bioware to use a new (to them) game engine during development. ME:A was never actually that bad. And after the launch troubles were ironed out, it is still a fun experience that is well worth playing.

@@Prophes0r Yes but considering how unpolished it was, they absolutely didnt have to desperately make a stand alone thing like that. If EA had made a spin-off or other interesting story related to the million characters and sub-plots in the first 3 ME games, they may have even weathered a stormy launch much better since fans would've at least have been more content with something familiar, or relatable, to the formula that worked so beautifully with the first 3. Sorry but its just silly... EA wasted many many resources on a title that just didnt have to be made, and wasnt appreciated or well planned, executed, thought out, nothing.

Same here, mine game got irreversibly glitched, evern clean install didnt helped, my hud was somehow moved beyond the screen boundaries and most saves got corrupt and were loading indefinitely. I was so pissed, but the overall ending and the game itself was weaker story wise. I still remember how hyped for the game i was, i bought the game on pre order and i was at work when i remotely initiated the download, so the game is ready when i get home....After this i swore this was the last game i preordered

It still has. The first game wasn't what we all anticipated and as good as we had hoped, but it can be redeemed. Give it a 2nd entry, and it could be the fist wobly step to a new amazing trilogy.

​@@burjalmadrethis meant to be a spin off. They do it all the time with other sci-fi franchises. It's basically the Stargate Atlantis of the Mass Effect universe. They will continue the main story eventually, it doesn't replace it. Probably the main motivation to create a game like this was to introduce new gamers into the ME universe without the need to play the first 3 games (it took me 130+ hours with Legandary Edition recently). It could have been as good as the original with no strings attached, giving writers some space to experiment with new races and technology. The bigger issue with this game is that you don't really care about the characters and the lore. In ME1 you were hooked from the start.

@@IstvanNagy86 I agree with you. I see why they did it, but they didnt use the formula used in ME trilogy to get you hooked and invested in characters. Im sure in no small part to the facial animations that were worse than even ME 1 lol. Glad youre enjoying Legendary Edition. Im currenly on game 3, after 100 something hours. Isnt it beautiful? What a series...

Only ever played Mass effect 2 on xbox but just for a movie this pretty sick to watch and I'm only 27mins in. Well done on this. I subd bro.💯👊🏽

I purchased a copy about 4 months ago. The animation and graphics were great. The main story isn't comparable to the original mass effect storyline of Shepard, but it is ok as a stand-alone parallel.

Trilogy had 3 games over several years to Polish and devolop its characters and story chief. Andromeda gave us all new races and enjoyable combat and exploration. Definitely didn't deserve the hate. My only issue is Nolan norths voice for scott

This should have more views, it's the best quality game movie since the game came out. Im curious, did you mod this at all? The textures and animations look far better than what I remember from playing Andromeda when it first came out.

The story was no Shepard trilogy admittedly, but decent enough, the characters were pleasent over all (except for Liam the bell end) and the graphic was really improved with the updates. Are you sure you are not just hating because hating seems to be in fashion right now?

Why should it? The story is by far the worst part of this game. The game-play is actually the best in the series and its dragged down by the terrible, ridiculous, amateurish writing.

Jim Ang true but look at the first mass effect, the graphics don’t hold up after time but nobody makes a fuss. everyone complains about the graphics but that’s only one small element in game making. I was really intrigued in the story, and in terms of gameplay, for the most part it was smooth. sure they basically re-used mechanics but for the amount of development time this game actually had, which was little more then a year and a half, they did a really good job. it’s such a shame BioWare montreal won’t get another chance to fix their mistake, and that is entirely on their so called “fans”

They hate it because instead of Bioware making a polished game, that couldve had a much more interesting story connected to the countless and amazing stories introduced in the first trilogy, EA forced them to make this dog shit of a game, betting on the love of the fans for the first 3 games, all while laughing on their way to the bank.

I love this game. I love Mass Effect in general. The only disappointment is that we likely won't see a true sequel/trilogy from what was started here.

Very true mate. Andromeda is my fav then me2. The trilogy had 3 games to Polish its story and character development over multiple years of tuning. What we have in Andromeda is a new galaxy, a clean pallette, no reaper focus, new villains, new races and planets, actually explorable areas with fluid movement and combat. Its great, so sad people bandwagon hated the game cos it was the cool thing at the time. I also love the tempest and the crew feels more intractable. We were teased dlc at the end with the quarians but sadly the devs obviously were crushed by the criticism.

@@jameslay1489 EA pulled thr plug on Andromeda because of how it was commercially received. I understand that it had a lot of major issues at launch with bugs and glitches. But the story is not at all even close to a bad one, in my opinion. It's a very good story with very different characters from the trilogy characters. Granted the voice acting could have been better, but still not the worst I've ever heard tbh. I just dont get the mass hate for the game. I get the disappointment with how unpolished it was at launch. But the hate is very unwarranted, in my opinion.

@@Hsf-vz2ol I didn't say anything about the story, I thought it was okay. EA was pulling people of Andromeda to work on Anthem while Andromeda was in development, that's one of the reasons why it had issues. I agree about all the hate, there were worse games that came out in bad condition.

Actually you will. Mass Effect 5 is confirmed to take place in both galaxies. It will continue after the events of the trilogy in the milky way, but somehow connect to Andromeda.

Masterful Gerenadework.

God, this game had such a strong opening. I got blue balled about halfway through the game when I played it and I can’t stomach looking at the animations, but just purely listening to the audio, especially in the beginning, Andromeda begins very powerfully. The voice acting, writing for the scenes and dialogue, soundtrack, and sound design are all very well done. I get goosebumps. Andromeda isn’t a bad game on the whole, in my opinion. It just has some glaring flaws. Some aspects of the game are extremely good, some are extremely bad. That averages out to just an “okay” game.

Some people just want to look at the negative points and this short-sightedness made this game sink and no DLC got to be released... I really wanted to play the Quarian ark mission. Such a shame.

This game suffered from what so many games in the last 5 years have suffered from, bad management. What we got was thrown together in about 18 months. Pretty impressive considering that.

I like this, a lot of work gone into it. One thing, on the first planet with all the lighting he said the first alien race we come upon we shoot them, then when they get to the space station or what ever they called it there are four or five aliens on it, did I miss Something. I'm only an hour into it but enjoy it so far.

Those were not aliens, they were races from the Milky Way, Asari, Krogan, Turians, Salarians and so on, introduced in the Mass Effect trilogy. The Kett were the first race from Andromeda they encountered.

That main villain reminds me of the alien dude in saints row 4

That wasnt just a movie IT WAS A MOVIE & A HALF. Intergrated video games, voices, Emotions, Music and Healthy Imagination. 1,st time Iv seen it. Love to see it on a 200 foot screen. Should have 86,d bad guy in the end. he'll be back. That was great work EVERYONE. Thank You. I'd Love to make movies like that. Just need neural Interface. Ps. I think that girl-DR> Anwah who was flying the ark was Really Cute. Nice girl. Shame she didnt have more part's. Hope they repair the Ark incase that world doesn't work out. After all that happened. I'd Stay Very Cautious. Tou never know=Allways have a backup plan or 2 or 10. You got into so much detail. I like that different races worked well together as we all would like it to be. Fighting eachother is like fighting yourself=Pointless& no chance of Evolving=Stagnation. Most races 86 themselves before passing lightspeed, if your off by a fraction of a sec, you can be lost in time. They learn to coexist B4 starspeed is Learned, it takes time. All and all it is a Great Story. Looking Forward TO THE NEXT ONE. TAKE CARE EVERYONE.

Really liked that Mass Effect game.

I'm 50 years old and stayed up until 230 in the morning to finish watching this. Now, that's kind of pathetic. You would think that I had no life. Not so much. A retired millionaire. And...a retired gamer. Incredible story line. Well done. I will sleep in, and my wife thinks I've lost my mind, my lab is looking at me like I have as well, and my sons can not even get me to play with the thousands of dollars worth of shit that I buy for them. This game's story line had me. Incredible. I normally deal with geopolitical issues, and the financial markets. This was very refreshing, and reminded me what it is just to imagine. Thank you for that.

As far as the pathfinder is concerned I would have preferred "To boldly go where no one has gone before".

Arms and legs of especially the humans are so unnaturally bent.

I don't get why people call this a shit game, true it's not the original mass effect with our loved characters but we get to see a new aspect to the original series's world. A new beginning, and new adventures, I just finished the game, all I can say, it was the best game I've played.

the dialog is delivered kinda flatly and all the asari look like the doctor lady except for Peebee. All of them. The humans also all look like potatoes and its impossible to get a good looking Ryder. Also, the controls are kinda jank and the car is fiddly. It also feels like I didn't even make any choices the whole time, and so it felt less impactful by the end. Overall, not the best.

Some of the chars seem to have a fault when depicted walking LOL - is gravity different over there?

A heads-up display (HUD) is a transparent or miniaturized display technology that does not require users to shift their gaze from where they are naturally looking.

At 1:15:17 is something I wasn't expecting. Unusual in the cutscenes. Probably more. Will comment later on this.

If Liam is the Security Specialist former Cop who served in the Crisis Response Unit( SWAT EMA) then why his analytical skills lacking his situational awareness lacking (basically not at the level an experienced LEO/Tactical Operator should have as their foundation?! Just wondering and why isn't he in a hard suit (full body) he seems like comic relief sort of, in reality he should be on point with all things related to Crisis Situations period and not just some guy on the team.
