HE HAS ABSOLUTELY EVERY CLUE, held up the line for 45 minutes he was embarrassed as shit.

As you were installing them I was like "where's the limiter? Track flips, well... they definitely needs a limiter"

I'm sure these are still worth it. It's just good to know the limits it has. That way it's also known how to fix it or what to do about it.

they really need a better tensioning system so they dont skip so much under high torque. also go to the junk yard get some old seat belts and make limit straps so they dont flip over anymore

Lol try spinning the drum or rotor to the correct holes on the tracks instead of spinning a 200 lb track to match the holes 😉

I don't think I'd cut the lockers on with those. They have so much grip you'll probably bind and break the track.

Nice, they finally got the old bronco hill graded and carved out now? Was there in the spring and it was un rideable

Perhaps a paint pen would help mark the jeep lugnut holes

They are really designed for winter use. Wait until December or January and I’ll head out into the wilderness for a real test.

The tracks provide about a 2:1 gear reduction, so they are likely not putting a lot of stress on the transmission. Plus the rubicon has a 4:1 low range ratio already, and 4.1:1 axles.

@@thejonchacon wish I could post photos here. The reduction comes from Having a smaller diameter “tire”. The main drive sprocket is maybe 15 or 16 inches in diameter, where stock jeep tires are about 32”. The difference in circumference between the two is the gear reduction.

Tires for the win. Those tracks being able to rotate out of position isn’t cool at all.

They have rotation limiters that stop that from happening. He just didn’t install them.
