For some reason, that whole area looks so familiar! The pine trees and road, everything looks very familier!familiar! We run Modifieds, dirt track racing and one class is limited to .488 lift cam, which lopes just like yours! It's got that signature " 1 - 2 - 3, 1 - 2 - 3" thump! The Super Modified class is limited to a .550 lift, which is ultra aggressive! When they drop the flag for the Feature race, and you stomp it to the floor, it's an instant 9,100 rpm. But most of the time you can't just plant it wide open, unless your up front. Otherwise your ass-end the car ahead of you with a dry track and so much torque!😢 What size cam are you running? It sounds very close to our .488!

That's just as loud as the 3" Jegs Flowmasters I have behind my 401FE in my 64 Galaxie fastback. Just a bit too loud for me, for a street car. I just bought some Dynomax super turbo mufflers. I hope they quiet it down some but not too much.

I ran Dynomax Super Turbos on my ‘68 Camaro, with 355 and big Crane solid lifter cam. Best mufflers I’ve ever had - throaty, no drone, and only loud when floored.

@@jusuplookingugly9076 You can do better than BMT. Spend the money on a small roller on a 110 LSA. More torque, more reliable, and easy on the valvetrain. Call Powell Machine and he’ll custom grind one for you and give you a nice set of roller lifters cheaper than what the big guys are selling. They did a custom one for my buddy’s BBC and it runs like a M’fer. Very streetable, too.
