Ok this will really seem like a play on words, so you are surprised because I was surprised by the fact that things did not go smoothly, but that was your interpretation, in reality I expected even worse, but not at the beginning, because many things had been hidden from us, on purpose, because it was a rather particular and difficult situation, we understand the fact that it was potentially more difficult to find a buyer, but if they had told us everything from the first moment it would have been easier for us to have the right patience and perseverance, hiding some situations have made us lose trust and patience many times, a situation bordering on acceptable, and sometimes even unpleasant, but it is the result that counts in the end, we wanted the house, we got it, we will just have to wait until end of January! 😁💕😘👋

Congratulations I had no idea what you’ve been through but thank you for sharing. You’re a trooper for holding back your emotions while filming and explaining to us what’s going on in must’ve taken a lot of energy. No wonder you’re exhausted but it seems like you’ve recovered, although you are disappointed that it’s taken till January. I wouldn’t like that either. It seems like they were holding all the cards. I understand your in trepidation it’s your first house and almost all your finances that makes it even harder. I hope you covered yourself letting them stay in the house this long but I’m sure your lawyer and the real estate agent worked that out with you and them to your advantage. Like I mentioned to Fern, it’s important to learn to be willing to walk away from any situation so it doesn’t control you you control it. Trust becomes a big issue especially when one doesn’t know the bureaucracy of a country and it’s in a different Township. Getting back to having yourself in your own power start doing this with little things day in and day out, and when it comes to the big opportunities it will be natural because you’ve been doing it😂 for a while for you have been practicing.🌈💝🇨🇦 Congratulations once again and Enjoy The getting there. Bravo! So happy and excited for you. I've been on both sides now of buying and selling in L.A. suburb (California). Buying is waaay more stressful. I pray all continues smoothly and in January 2024 it will conclude with no more hurdles and you all happy AT HOME 🙏😊

Burnout is real and happens to all of us. Dont push yourself too hard to put on a happy face OR to produce videos every single week if you need a break. Your "holidays" haven't even been much of a holiday for you two because you've brought us along and documented the whole journey. Take time if you need it. We love what you guys do. Great advice, but the algorithms on KZread need to be fed frequently or they will stop showing our favorite Italians' posts for a little while. The algorithms seem to be the toughest part of the business.

I agree that you don't have to put on a happy face all the time. While many do watch for escapism, we all should know that life just isn't perfect for anyone all the time and cut them some slack. Anyone who becomes invested in a channel should have some empathy for the issues people will face in daily life.

Moving house is one of the top three most stressful situations in life, not surprising you felt exhausted. New property looks delightful and just in case you start missing steps you’ve got just enough to keep you fit. We have similar arrangements in Australia, we can accomodate each other for settlement . When I sold my last place they asked a week after I gave up work if they could move in, I was doing the move on my own at the age of 74. I did it !

Congrats on the new home! We recently moved from San Francisco to London and I completely understand your exhaustion. We are currently in London waiting for our home to sell in California. But all the work up this year to the actual move and preparing our home for the market completely took everything out of me. We all got sick once we arrived in London - even our dog! The stress messed with our immune systems. So take care and make sure you’re resting up, meditating, hydrating, and enjoying the happy news. I am hoping our home sells soon and that we find a nice place in London to call our own. I can’t wait to see your new Tuscany dream in January. You can spend this time imagining the things you want to do to make it your own home.

I can relate I am moving from a second floor to a ground floor apartment. I had considered the 2nd floor of the new place but it was 19 steps to that floor and no elevator. (There is a third floor too) I am sure my decision was influenced by my multiple trips up and down my stairs to purge, declutter and donate items to prep for moving. And I had some doubts about privacy on the first floor. But I am really happy with my decision. P.S. I am close to 70 and in good health and fit. I am just tired of stairs!

We have waited all week (anxiously) to see if you have secured the house in your name. Both you and Carlos have had so much patience. I would have been climbing the walls. Congratulations, now start planning your renovations into the home of your dreams, yeah! ❤

It took 3 years and many offers to finally find our dream home, living on the river in a floating home. It's basically a house permanently moored. Best of the future from Oregon, USA.

Congratulations! Now a place to escape the busy crowds of the Amalfi coast. I visited Amalfi yesterday, spent 2 hours trying to catch the bus to Ravello. Gave up due to crowds all pushing to get on the buses. I have even more admiration for Nicki climbing those stairs! We gave up and took the ferry back to Salerno.
