I live in Kyrgyzstan as a foreigner. I hope people still come to visit Kyrgyzstan, because it is only by interacting with the world that these backwards mindsets will be healed. But other than all that, if you try to learn the Kyrgyz language and travel to the mountains, you will be perfectly fine InshAllah.

It started on May 13 when a local student misbehaved with an Egyptian student. The Egyptian student beat up the local Kyrgyz and a video was made and went viral. After that, the local people started attacking the foreign student. There are 70 thousand foreign students, all of them have paid the fee in dollars. It would have been fine if the matter had only been with the students, but the local administration, along with the criminals, attacked the foreign students.

You, a lawyer, are stirring up interracial strife, on May 13, a local student wanted to meet a foreign student and went to the hostel where the girls lived, but the guys, students from Egypt, were jealous of their girls and a conflict began in which they beat our citizens by a crowd, the injured guys filed a complaint with the police, but no what measures were not taken against foreign citizens who were escaping, after this incident a video appeared on the network where a crowd somewhere 15 foreign citizens are severely beating 3 local citizens with a stick, because of this young students gathered at a rally to ask the police for justice, why they are not detaining foreign citizens who were involved in the beating of our citizens.

Fun fact; it was the Kyrgyz who started this. 3 Kyrgyz men were harassing Egyptian female students, even trying to SA them. They ran back to the campus and yelled for help. A group of Egyptian male students, about 15 of them, saw the Kyrgyz men following them back to the women's dorms and attacked; beating the men black and blue. The Kyrgyz men later lied saying it was the Egyptians attacking local girls.

After watching all the videos, I can say that the local guys started a conflict with students from Egypt. when the students returned to the dorm. 4 local guys broke into their dormitory and they were rebuffed by 20 students. as a result, three escaped, leaving one to be torn to pieces by a crowd of students. footage of this moment quickly spread across the local media and several hundred locals surrounded the student dormitory to avenge the beaten local guy. I am sorry that other innocent students suffered because of this incident and I apologize on behalf of my compatriots, I am for the friendship of peoples. NO to war and no to violence☮️

What do you all expect? This is Central Asia, a Third-World kingdom. Their mental state is just like rest of the poor countries. Of course their Colleges will cost way way less than Colleges in US, UK, Canada etc but the social cost of living in Central Asia is way higher. For foreign citizens from poor and developing nations, there is this big price to pay by studying or working in these Central Asian countries as well as former Soviet Republics

If these people had expressed gratitude, tried their best to assimilate, learned the local language, treaded lightly with their Islam religion, refused all but the minimum of government aid, they would likely find their reception different. Assimilating and having no sense of entitlement are crucial when you move en masse to another country if you want to avoid an inevitable backlash. Kyrgyzstan is likely somewhat different from Western countries, but immigrants to Western countries, especially illegal immigrants, take note. You remain in those countries at the sufferance of the people, despite the BS the government says. Islam.veing pushed in the faces of locals by immigrants with a sense of entitlement guarantees a backlash, likely violent. Be warned.

Australia has banned students from the subcontinent now almost completely. Too many issues but the main one we notice that these people are very arrogant and demanding with no manners at all when dealing with people. Everyone dislikes them here, even other Asians.

I stand before you today to address a grave situation concerning the safety and well-being of international students in Kyrgyzstan. Leaving one's home country and incurring significant financial burdens to pursue an education abroad is a commendable act of intellectual ambition. Host nations have a fundamental obligation to reciprocate this commitment by ensuring a respectful and secure environment for these students. Their pursuit of knowledge should be accompanied by a sense of belonging, fostering a feeling of being at home away from home. However, recent events in Kyrgyzstan paint a disturbing picture. The brutal treatment of Indian, Pakistani, Egyptian, Bangladeshi, Nepali, and Saudi students by Kyrgyz mobs and terrorists is utterly unacceptable. These students have been subjected to physical violence and harassment, particularly female students, creating an atmosphere of fear and chaos that has persisted for the past three days. The abject failure of law enforcement to protect students and tourists during this ordeal is equally concerning. A complete ban on tourism, trade, and education in Kyrgyzstan may seem like a drastic measure. However, a strong and unequivocal message needs to be sent. Kyrgyzstan must be held accountable for its shortcomings in ensuring the safety of international students.

The devils cruel hate is out in force….. trying to keep fear, chaos and violence in the world.

This is a lie, the local administration and the authorities did not attack the students but defended them, dissatisfied young local students came out to the rally against the arbitrariness of some foreign students who beat local students and the police who did not detain the instigators of the conflict, the police and special forces immediately unhooked and secured the hostel where the foreign students live , you are not telling the truth, provocateur

Appalled to see the Police/law enforcement turning a blind eye.

Мне кажется что в этом, замешаны иностранеые спец-службы, которые завирбовали несколько дебоширов, которым заплатили за такой резонанс. Проблемма не в студентах и местном населении, а проблемма в геополитике. Это моё мнение.

​@@chap_01 если бы это была методичка Лэнгли, были бы внешнеполитические требования типа "дввайте дружить с западом (Турцией, США) а не с Китаем или Россией", тут были требования бытовые "посадить иностранцев" ну и отрегулировать миграционную политику, так что вряд ли ту внешние силы замешаны. Просто нищета и безработица делает людей нервными, а пакистанцы попали под руку.

Had this been on Russians they would have sent their army like in Ukraine.

We need to learn a lot from Kyrgyzstan.
