Same, they had some really good movements here, really intrigued to what they can do About Mitch, as he seems to be a little behind in terms of movement, I'm a bit worried that he may take some uncontrolled risks at some point in the games

It looked like he was taking a leisurely stroll! I noticed that he made a point of looking back often to gauge he fast he had to move too. One to watch

Luciano always feel 5 steps ahead, very intimidating and skillful

I love this. Every other attempt at ripping off WCT is going to fail. These producers, the crew, the announcers, the teams, the respect, the skills. There's no question WCT is something magical!

Yeah, probably because most of the atlethes here are new. Unlike with the previous tournaments where more than 60% (don't quote me on this number) of the athletes have been playing since WCT 1 / 2.

@@liandryss905 Facts,many are parkour athletes trying this out for the first time(as many before), but now when WCT international comes back we'll might see a lot more "new" guys playing or even more teams.

The athletes in this event knew they had to compete in multiple matches over days so they paced themselves. At the last 2 events, it was a straightforward knockout so the stakes were high right from thee start. At this event, the matches at the end of the group stage and from the Play Offs onwards have more tension and jeopardy because someone is going home.

Luciano has the craziest approach, but it works, cat-like in a way, 2:50, 8:47.

Ben could be a real threat later on. He's got all the the parts of a great evader, he just needs experience

Nice match, and Enso athletes were FAST! They really prepared for this match and showed that they can fight! They have potential for sure!

That match between Rich and Ben was insane, honestly, great effort on both sides. Rich was on Ben the entire match, but Ben always managed to slip away with his incredible agility and quick thinking, especially that one move where he turned back on himself 5:08. Great effort on Rich's part for keeping up with Ben after constantly having near misses.

Luciano took a really unusual route at the very start of the chase that I'd never seen anyone do before, but what about Gabriel's slide tag in Chase 14!

it's so cool to see more althletes began to look past raw speed and investing more in reading and tricking their opponent. Can't wait to see Ben evading Luciano, it'd be a total psywar.

We're thinking of the best way to do that sort of thing. A straightforward post match interview is kinda boring (that's what they do on crappy games shows) maybe we do in-depth podcast style interviews or analysis. We're thinking about both of those things.

@@WorldChaseTag Perhaps something you could ask the athletes after the match is... what did you learn from this, about how you use space, and how your opponents used space? Or getting an idea of how they as a team analyse each others runs. It wouldn't just be 'how did you feel about that', more about them reflecting on their strategies, which I imagine would be helpful to them as well. Keep it up guys, great stuff.

Oh man what a good play by both teams! Luciano's unique techniques were so interesting to watch and I can't wait to see more from him!

Yup - all 16 teams were there to win!!! Totally agree, Luciano has a really relaxed style but he's very fast when he needs to be!

This is amazing! Great content guys keep up the good work.

I liked Ben and Sha. Both seemed quite natural on the court. But man Luciano was entrancing to watch. Really interesting movement. No gap seems too small. The court opens up when he moves like that. And the speed he moves on his hands is quite impressive.

Finally my favorit back. Atheletes reeaaadyyyy Luciano said "YEEEAAA!!!" everybody said "Yeeeaaaa!!!"

Announcer when naming the teams :🙄 When screaming Athleeeeds reaaaadyyyyy:😊

Sick match! I'm so glad this is on KZread so I can rewind anytime, I had to rewatch several moments they were so sweet! I loved Luciano's sneaky crawl 2:51 and Ben's sick turn around 5:08! Also, I feel like there was a lot of great QM in this match, especially in several evaders. So hyped!

Lemme guess: One character will always be able to appear out of seemingly anywhere The next character will by signature come down to strike from above Another character will play and be revealed to have been blind the whole time And for the best defense, a character will have something akin to ultra instinct lol

This was a great match to watch with thee lead changing hands and it all going down to the last chase.

Luciano is using the bait technique when evading. It’s very difficult and only one other player does it in the entire season but I don’t remember who.

It's no different from a normal decision to chase around one side relying on speed, except that, if executed as perfectly as he did, it saves him the energy he put into the speed he gained, from losing that momentum to bring his torso back up. Well done! 7:04 Maybe I'm imagining things but since it was mentioned that he has a background in martial arts, this move seems to be a real attacking move. Putting his energy into lunging his torso at the target with outstretched arm. 8:41 This Luciano is a real Ace. The type of guy you save for specific situations, I'd imagine.

I think this might be the best game of World Chase Tag there is so far! Last match Enso Movement didn't look very strong, however this match - Just wow! They appear as they have gained so much experience since last game and an enhanced feeling for the quad. Ben showed his speedy feet (Look at them 4:24) and amazing jukes and Christian looked also very strong in the quad (one evasion and nearly a second one). I think these two are the top two players for Enso, the others look pretty solid too! And 5Borough. Phew, they all look so strong in the quad. Starting off with the fantastic game against GNF they surely had to win this. Enso did a phenomenal job to take on the challenge but 5Borough did a slightly better job! To me, all of the 5B players seem to have a great understanding of the game and the court. Bryce looks like he knows the most theory - "Center control"?! - but this game he actually looked the least strongest member of the team. I don't get how Sha moves through the obstacle with his height, but he does it almost gracefully :D. I would have liked to see more of Mike this match because he seems just as strong as the WCT4 finalists. In exchange we finally got to see Deyvid who is also a quick and very solid athlete :)! Unfortunately for Rich he never got the tag on Ben with three hairsplitting misses. In conclusion they already have a team that is definitely a favorite for the title. However there is still Luciano. The cat. The beast. His style! I can't get over it o.O There is so much I would like to say but I can't. It's like the quad was made specifically for him. I don't know why but I feel like he's already the strongest player of World Chase Tag and I'm almost certain there won't be another player as good as him in this season. Let's see how that will work out :P

Glad we're still getting matches. My only gripe is that the announcer just sounds a bit...unenthusiastic. The old one was a bit better in my opinion. Great match though.

Still got plenty matches left!!! Tumiani (our previous chase announcer) is a hard act to follow!! Unfortunately he couldn't come due to COVID. The new announcer, Diddy, did a great job though and made 0 mistakes!!

Being small and having much flexibility definetly helps him to be able to run under the obstacles his only downside would be his speed but overall he definetly has a lot of potential.
