Seth is my absolute favorite in Group A! This match made me so anxious because I want GNF to at least win this groupXD there’s many teams that are either great or I haven’t seen, so we’ll see! I might have a new favorite. If we end up with another Tavon, that’ll be great, too! Can’t wait until he comes back in like 5yrs or so

Yeah you either don't watch sports or you don't know what you're looking at...Nearly all sports end with a show of sportsmanship. Pretty sure you're confusing aggression or trash talk as being unsportsmanlike which isn't the case.

@@WorldChaseTag You can actually see Davis gazing over to his right through the mountain on his intercepting path right between 14 and 15 seconds. You can see his right foot starting that intercepting line to cut off Gabe at the 15s mark, and like clockwork he gets the tag 2secs later. Beautiful.

he shouldn't have taken his eyes off of Davis. That was his downfall. If he took a look as to where Davis was, he could have turned back and got the evade before it was too late. Good match tho

Can't believe I won't see the 5 Boroughs again. Seth is just crazy unbelievable. King of this tournament by far

No disrespect to Enso Movement, but those evasions by Seth and Davis just show that GNF is definitely a level above (and there's no shame in that)

Seth and David have bags more experience than anyone else at this tournament, and you can see it on the quad.

This is the best most exhilarating match I’ve ever watched. I started watching WCT at WCT 3 and my first match was the boys vs ape escape. Since then I supported the boys because of people like tavon and Seth. Naturally i then Started supporting GNF since it has a lot of people from the boys in. I was gutted when they lost in the final of WCT 4 and I looked at the 4 evasions needed to survive in this tournament very pessimistically. When Davis got that final evasion honestly I lost it. I love this sport so much keep up the good work 👍🏻

Don't forget, this event has 16 teams / 36 matches. Up to now we've only shown Group A. @@WorldChaseTag oh I didn’t realise 5 borough were still in it, I thought it was just Hollywood street runners going to the playoffs. I knew this was only group A though.

Great work from Seth, really brought GNF back into the competition and was a split second away from a winning hatrick! Davis finishing so cool at the end, winning the match in style.

Group A was amazing. Can't wait for the next group.

I love how the match starts with a small rock-paper-scissors game.

Seth is insane man. Never fails to make it clear how good he is at this

Seth.. just what I expect from him. I mean he's been featured in "best of" clips for a reason. Excellent. Gotta say Gabriel pulled off the sweet on the buzzer tag, and I thought that was a turning point. Good match both teams!

I remember binging these a long time ago and am now seeing them so many times in my recommended...and man I’m so excited for future updates once I realized they were from this year and not repeats, really love this community

Killer match! GNF opened hard with a real "sacrifice the body" dive for a tag 0:53! And Chase 4 and 5 told a great story with the back to back chase and evasion. I also feel like I can't get enough of Christian's low line/QM, I love seeing him put that to amazing use on both the chase and the evade. And Julius had to one-up his teammate on the crazy dive for the tag 2:42, wow, such committment!

This is my first day watching and I'm hooked!

If you only watch 1 clip from this video, make sure you watch the move that Julius [instagram.com/jewyjutsu/] pulls at 2:42 which is one of the best single moves I've ever seen on the quad!

Davis & Seth both MVPs but such amazingly different styles. Davis' explosive speed makes it feel like he's putting in everything he's got (he is). Seth on the other hand is so fluid it looks almost easy (it's not). Such a contrast, yet both equally amazing.

There's a striding route that starts on the Sisters, then goes over to the Tilted Cube, over The Mountain and on to the Loading Bay. Seth does that move quite a lot and is so smooth with it. That move was first completed by instagram.com/xaviawhatcamole/?hl=en at the 2019 Euro Champs in the match between Breach and Ashigaru. We named that route after Xavia - "The Quac Track."

What a match, well played on both parts ! The consistency of Seth and Davis is incredible, Ben coming to the court before Seth had time to put some points in was very intimidating And of course well played to Gabriel, that was a great chase (and hopefully a risk-controled one)

I was a bit confused to why GNF had to get these 4 evasions. Somehow I was certain that Hollywood Freerunners are through already and GNF was just able to get into playoffs after this game. Well, they did a phenomenal job of winning this game in a very convincing fashion. In the last match "The Bear" said he wasn't very good at evading - I would like to disagree :D Three times stepping over the sisters, keeping the distance wide between him and the chaser. I think we could be seeing a bit more of Christian and Ben and potentially Gabriel in future events, however Enso unfortunately doesn't look very strong. Christian had a nice evasion against Julius who is just mad o.O. Who dives through the entire Loading Bay?!?! I gotta say, I love how GNF and especially Seth and Davis worked on their tactics. I'm very much looking forward to see more of them in the upcoming quarterfinals (and semis and the final itself?! :D)

Can I find a chart with the results of every match somewhere, where it's possible to see who is topping the leaderboards of every group and going through to quarter finals etc? Was looking on the website but couldn't find anything. Would be amazing to have something like that, to be able to make sense of the different teams and scores a bit more.

Haha that's an interesting one. I doubt we would do it any time soon as all the tv networks require it to be in 30fps and we need the tv money to keep the sport alive. If we can eventually break away from tv then that'd definitely something we could experiment with. Would mean we would have to shoot in 120fps though as if you wanted slowmo for a 60fps export. - wct video editor 🤓

Spoilers for the match so I can ask a question: Why are GNF through to the finals? Hollywood Freerunners and GNF both have 3 played, 2 wins, 8 evasions. Why are HF going to playoff against 5B if they're tied with GNF? What was the tiebreaker for GNF vs HF in the final standings?

Teams get 3 points for a win and 0 points for a loss. If two teams draw, both teams get 1 point each and enter into a Sudden Death Chase Off where the winner gets a bonus point. At the end of the Group Stage, the team with the most points goes straight to the Quarter Finals and the bottom placed team is eliminated from the competition. Teams finishing in positions 2 and 3 enter The Play Offs where they face similarly ranked teams from a different group. If two teams finish on the same number of points, rank is decided by the head-to-head result between the two teams in question. If three teams finish on the same number of points, rank is decided firstly by number of Evasions, then by Net Evasions (Evasions for minus Evasions Against), then by drawing straws. • GNF top the group so they go straight to the Quarter Finals. • Enso Movement were eliminated. • 5 Borough & Hollywood Freerunners both progress to the Play Off's and if they win their respective matches playing against other 2nd and 3rd placed teams from other groups, they'll also progress to the Quarter Finals.
