Fun fact: When it reset at the end, they became their favorite colors that they stated in the "Get creative" episode. By the way, they recently made a DHMIS tv series that is worth checking out.

When these videos first came out everyone went nuts, trying to come up with their theories "what does it all mean". Which I think was the intention? There are so many hidden easter eggs throughout the episodes in the backgrounds and quick flashes that explain it. I think Film theory did the best job explaining it all. They're worth watching.

There is no one explanation. It's full of ideas, themes and inconsiatencies. There is no 'answer' and everyone will have differing interpretations. That's great!

The sixth episode is and will forever be my favourite episode. The opening is good, I love the dreams song, but that’s not why I love the episode. It’s the stuff with Red Guy that makes it my favourite. Watching a man change after the trauma he’s suffered, watching him not being able to deal with losing his friends. He’s been shut down by society for being different, not wanting to fit in with the simulation. Everyone is the same but him. And then, he gets up onstage and sings the creativity song. In the first episode, Red Guy pawned off creativity as if it was nothing. He claimed it was ‘boring’ and that seeing the clouds wasn’t exciting. Watching this man realize what creativity is and trying to present it to the world is just beautiful. Even a little easter egg: when Red Guy gets to the bit about using hair to express yourself, he skips over his own line. He’s trying to forget about not being creative. I love the messages in the sixth episode, so much. The ending is beautiful too. Seeing all the old teachers come back in a flurry, not only for nostalgia, but to further the story, just made me so happy. And then seeing Roy, for the first time in the spotlight. He’s been hiding himself through episodes 3-6 in the background, unnoticed, until now. He’s taking the stage and presenting himself as the villain. The finale somehow combined everything from every episode, and not just in the way of bringing the old teachers back. Roy, episode 2, I wonder what will happen, episode 3, the plug, episode 4, the torture being directed towards Yellow Guy, episode 5, Red Guy’s personal dreams, episode 6, and the final line of the series being the first one we heard. I love the final episode.

I agree, episode six was more of a recap and honestly it's the only episode that isn't gory. Red guy clearly appeared depressed and brought back the creativity song for nostalgic purposes, sometimes nostalgia can actually make you wish things you didn't like in the past to return. The mind has a weird way of working like that, I'll be honest I've wished for things I didn't like in the past to return just so I can experience the past again or go back to people I really liked being around. All the teachers returning was also pretty nice and all their lines fit smoothly together between transitions, also the extra teachers were actually characters they planned on using but never did.

The parts with Red Guy at the office and coming on stage to do the creativity song are flashbacks to before the 1st episode, explaining how Red Guy came up with the "show within a show" and had to turn to Roy for help getting it off the ground.

The whole series feels like a fever dream mixed with a nightmare

i love how the duck getting canned is a double meaning with his on screen death and getting "canned" ie fired lmao, it's so subtle but i think it's such a solid bit

Film theory and nightmind both have some pretty interesting theory’s on this series that are worth checking out.

Still, you shouldn’t Need a VPN to watch this, it really sucks that it’s UK only. Like I get it, that’s their home country, but still.

I would highly recommend’s Inside a Mind’s theory on this series! I’ve seen a lot of theories about this series but I think Inside a Mind really hits it on the head ^^

I feel like the "three things to do" are shorthand for information-gathering, buying/selling, and creating/consuming entertainment. And honestly, he's right. I can't think of many things to do on the internet that can't be placed under one of those three categories.

To me, the series represents red guy growing up and outgrowing childish things. Roy is actually trying to help him let go of his slowly degrading childhood.

There's no official way to watch the official TV show without living in the UK or using a VPN registering a VPN email address and doing a blood sacrifice. But uploaded to KZread are the six episodes Work/Jobs , Death, Family, friendship,Transportation, and Electricity. It's not really scary but if you haven't played it, you should do a playthrough of The Beginner's Guide. It's halfway between a game and a reaction, so it fits your channel well, I think. It's made by the creator of The Stanley Parable, if you know that game. The game is driven by a narrator and only takes about an hour and a half to complete. If you decide to play it, don't read up on it beforehand, just jump right in.
