All those years with a wife and child, then yellow guy and the gang's lives return to normal. This comedy can't be replicated

The TV series as a whole definitely leans more into the comedy than the original shorts, and I for one love it.

It definitely works. The characters in the original didn't talk much and the focus was more on the horrors of the situations than the character dynamics themselves. Here, because of the runtime, more dialogue between the characters is needed and it works for the better. Not to say that there aren't horror moments but it's definitely more comedy than horror this time around.

Don't skip the intros each episode has a different intro

"My hand... my child...." "My lanyard! my weight gain!"

As someone who's gone through different therapists and psychologist, the segment with the care hound feels relatable. Alot of times you're just given exercises that are meaningless or don't actually help. The same generic advice repeated over and over. The subtle push of medications. At least thats how I interpreted that part

Love that you’re laughing a lot at this, I think people get caught up in the mystery horror aspect when the humour is possibly the best thing about it.

Yep, it's a shame the kiddies are focused only on the edgy aspects. The surreal/absurdist comedy is like 80% of what makes this show amazing. The horror and mystery just add extra flavor.

It was always full of absurd humour though. Even the original webseries was really funny in an absurd way.

Duck easily became my favorite because of this series.

I know people have already said this, but thanks so much for laughing at this show. A lot of other people just stare and analyze and go “ew” when something gross happens. But this show… is such a comedy. It’s dark, British humor so not everyone is going to get it, so it’s nice to see someone enjoy it!

That was actually pretty good. Love the ending with the coin in the eye lol

I adore this whole series, i live in the UK and when i saw it advertised on channel 4 after years of hearing nothing it was such a happy moment. I LOVE DHMIS!!

Don't forget the outro, the credits include extra audio that continues the last part of the episode (I especially love the ending involving a machine gun and chainsaw - they fight) :)

nah, their version is very focused on a specific point against capitalism, while the original series was sponsored in part by Channel 4, a capitalist company That is why I think it is somewhat freer to that interpretation, maybe it is correct but not 100%

No hate or anything, but I don’t like how you’re cutting off most of the video and only leaving in parts that are funny. Yes, this season has more humor than horror but it’s best if you leave in the whole video. It’s called a reaction video for something right? Not only reacting to funny bits. 😅
