如果说2008年北京奥运开幕式如同乍富之下追求高端大器成就了史上最贵的一次开幕式的话，这次的冬奥则是低调有内涵简洁明快更加自信，即使面对这么多的刁难和困难，中国越来越自信。希望中国人越来越自信为自己的民族自豪，让那些不喜欢和仇恨中国的人难受去吧。

So romantic, and has lots of meaning. All the countries made a big piece of snowflake which surrounded by a pure heart. These counties are protecting the flame in the middle. In winter we need work harder, connecting and working together for a better future for human being. Heart melting. Thank you for this great work. This is the best.

Beautiful Opening Ceremony....Everything is soo great..

I really loved the fact is China as the host nation are putting a wonderful and spectacular show from the start to finish and it's a outstanding presentation. 😁

According to many of the athletes this was one of the best and certainly the safest. I almost watched every single event and I don't normally event watch any sports events. It was just amazing, the venues were some of the best, accommodations looked like luxury suites with smart beds, robuts every where, records were broken and then there was the opening and closing ceremonies!! It's just too bad that the athletes had to stay in the bubble village but even then the vast majority said that they had an unforgettable time. I'm glad this was held in China because this was the peak of the pandemic. Could anyone imagine any country sending athletes to the US if it was held there?

Best Winter opening ever. "Snowflakes" is very touching. Beijing 2008 wowed our senses, Beijing 2022 moved our hearts.

Yes, the outside temperate is -24 degrees Celcius and you would not want the children to get frost bite too. A clip showed Director Zhang Yimou opined that the children phase of the rehearsal should be carried out quickly to enable them to return indoor to keep warm.

The total area of the LED display on the floor of the bird's nest is 10,390 square meters, and it can withstand the extreme cold of -35 degrees Celsius. In addition, the performers are mostly ordinary citizens, students and other volunteers, and there are no stars or singers that can be seen in movies or TV series. All the children singing the Olympic hymn in Greek come from the poor mountainous areas of hebei province. The youngest child is only five. I think this is really the best tournament in history.
