Iam also reviewed about opening ceremonies in other Olympic. The screen on the birdnest floor in 2022 could be the best visual ever in olympic history. Colors and graphics detail is so mesmerizing.

The lifetime President of China takes the Olympic Games very seriously. This resulted in China paying $3 billion for the Olympics.

The singer for ‘Imagine’ is a young Chinese singer: Li, Chen Xi (李宸希). He was born in a village in Inner Mongolia, China. He loves music but went on to study public health in college because that is what his parents want him to do. However his passion for music eventually led him to musical. He played lead roles in some Chinese musical productions. He found out his voice was selected when he was watching the opening ceremony. His journey is so inspirational.

China always did their best whenever what big events there are. They showed warmth and love and appreciation to other countries.. Great Job.

In 2008, the air in Beijing looked bad because a large number of fireworks were used at the opening ceremony. The smoke looks dirty. In fact, during the Olympic Games, the air in Beijing is at its best.

My favorite is the countdown. Growing up, I always have a romantic interpretation of the 24 seasons. They often appear in poetry, precisely describing the time and its environment, full of romantic feelings. Also, the 24 seasons create a cycle as a whole, which gives an interesting philosophical view of life.

The philosophy of this opening ceremony is transition from "I" to "We". Hence you might feel that it doesn't mirror the Chinese historic reserves (such as arts, history inventions) as the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics did. It is a pavement to the shared future for all of human beings.

The main ideals are very diferent,as the Winter Games was held during the Lunar New Year and due this they used the concept as the orienting scheme.

As an overseas Chinese, I can tell you that our culture teaches humility, and to always treat your guests with hospitality and respect. I can see all those values being showcased here in this beautiful production. Congratulations to China and all the athletes!

I never really paid attention to the winter olympics. But since the west especially the US was making such a big deal about it, I just had to watch it. And these were the best winter olympic games I have seen, and thats despite the pandemic. Also enjoyed the fact that since the US was making a big deal about everything. they still came 4th below China in the medal charts.

USA was ranked 4th in the number of gold medals and 3rd in the total number of medals. China was ranked 3rd in the number of gold medals (just one more than USA), but 8th in the total number of medals.

Malta's flagbearer was so cute. She was famous and well-known in China as "the red bean paste bun girl". Her Olympic story was so inspiring! Love her!

i did not realise that i was holding back tears the whole time. there's something just so beautiful about this year's opening ceremony. i think the unity is one of the major reason, i wish to experience this feeling live one day and not just through a scree. stay safe everybody! much love from hong kong. :,D

OMG! SO SO SO BEAUTIFUL! Thanks so much for everyone did such a great job for Beijing Olympic! I really enjoy the Ceremony, every moment in the show, really fantastic! Unbelievable, it looks like an art film, the best show ever.

This is ice-cold fresh breath-takingly stunning and beautiful. I was all jaw-dropping when watching the Summer Olympic 2008 open ceremony --- the bar was set so high --- I didn't expect this contrasting style presentation for the winter 2022. Amazing creativity and artistic. Thank you China. You make the message very clear to the world every single time: Peace, Love, and Together. We love you China.

It feels so heart warming to re-watch this in 2023. War/death/blood/tear is everywhere in this world. Peace is precious.

I cried, we live on the same earth and everyone is working hard to live. They have family, lovers, friends.

I was watching this ceremony in Beijing ，but I was being a little drunk after I drank a lot of beer and wine, so I wasn't really paying attention while the TV was on. Today I watched it from the start to the end，it is so breathtaking. So proud that we Chinese can also be that creative and romantic. We have also conveyed the message of peace and harmony for the world!

@@shajahankani4085 I also like the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony, when China attracted the modern world's attention for the first time. It showcased China's long history and oriental culture, which might feel unique and look magnificent to people not knowing China. This time, however, the directors wanted to highlight the most important lesson China learnt from its development in the past 14 years, which is that we all shared the future, so we should get together to face global challenges such as the pandemic. Therefore, they focused on addressing common concerns such as equality, cost-effectiveness, public health and eco-friendliness. I'd say with a lot aids of new techs, it was still a fresh and spectacular show - wouldn't you agree?😉

This was for me the most beautiful Opening Ceremony of Olympic games (until now it was London :-D). I cried many times with a joy when I watched it, loved children's choirs and this song Snowflakes. Olympic anthem is sooooooo dificult to sing and these children were amazing! Bach had great speach (and during closing ceremony is was great too). I loved all the simple but very important symbols - doves, olive branches, this beautiful snowflake, children, heart... China, thank you for this amazing experience. I will have it in my heart for all my life!

In the 2008 Olympic Games, China displayed a rich history and culture and was magnificent. The 2022 Olympics mainly showcased ideas and technologies, but of course also included many Chinese elements. Because of the pandemic, the Olympics are simple and creative. If you can travel to China, I believe you will like it here and have a better understanding of the Chinese culture contained in the Olympic Games. Vítejte v Číně!

I really really love it the way they managed the ceremony with peace. Love China love world and all the best for all the players.

I think that tiny flame symbolized the last hope for the solidarity of mankind, weak but tenacious. Let's stop fighting and learn to work together, for a shared future.

The Olympic flame burning as a small torch in the middle of the big snowflake that is made up of hundreds of countries (small snowflakes) is absolutely brilliant and deeply meaningful. Life is fragile. Relationship is fragile. Humanity is fragile. The peaceful beautiful world we have together is fragile. Only working together with love that the world will shine brighter, higher, stronger.

I will never forget the shock brought to me by the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games! I didn't expect the Beijing Winter Olympics to be still excellent! ! Beautiful!

Probably beacuse it combined with the 24 traditional Chinese Solar terms,and 4th February,2022 is exactly the first solar term "li chun",which means the start of spring.

I like how people in every country where the Olympic Games are held meet their athletes. the support of their athletes is felt🔥
