Nice little trivia on this game: the Yale band could not make the trip to Spokane so the University of Idaho band showed up (they are about two hours from Spokane) in Yale shirts and played the part of the Yale band for the game. You can hear them playing the Yale fight song after the game ends.

Yale played a great game. Auburn let the pressure get to them. Same thing happened to Kentucky.

A lot of these hotshot youngsters need to work on their fundamentals, like free throws. Auburn gave that game away.

There's a shot clock to keep them from running out the clock and a 3-point line to enable the trailing team to inch back from a deficit [along with playing defense and getting rebounds].
