I've watched and read some incredible tributes, but Boris said it best with 'She seemed so timeless and so wonderful that I am afraid we had come to believe, like children, that she would just go on and on.' That really hit home

Absolutely..Boris is always well spoken ..!

Excellent speech by Boris. Outstanding. We really have seen our House of Commons at its best today. I'm more emotional than I expected to be but very proud of what I have seen and heard and experienced.

I’m far from his biggest fan but my word he knows how to pen a tribute.

I may not agree with his politics but he has given a touching tribute to Queen Elizabeth the Great.

Moved to tears watching this tribute. For all his bafoonery and self-indulgence, this speech is one of his finest hours. R.I.P Elizabeth Alexandra Mary.

I would have never thought I would be watching a speech by Boris more than once, yet here I am watching it for the fourth time and it just gets me emotionally, rest in peace our Queen ❤️

Definitely agree. It's my third time watching the speech from 🇨🇦. It's is the best and finest tribute to HM Queen Elizabeth II from a former British Prime Minister.

The statement not long after the Queen passed from Boris was I thought very touching but again this tribute was absolutely wonderful. Irrespective of our views on individuals and their policies credit where credit is due, this was a magnificent speech.

Ohh, that was beautiful, Boris. I smiled, I laughed, I nodded and I cried because it is like our beloved Nan has died, who used the one bar fire and old Tupperware, wandered around in sensible shoes and tartan skirt and loved us all.

Doesn’t matter what your opinion is of Boris, but I think we can all agree that this speech he did was an absolutely wonderful speech and really summed up Her Majesty very well. Rest in Paradise Queen Elizabeth x

Credit where due, that was a great speech. Just great. He hit a lot of nails right on the head.

just when you think boris cant surprise you he make such an eloquent heartfelt speech which puts the current pm to shame . a man of many hidden talents which is why truss looks like she has eaten a lemon .

I've seen a lot of cynical comments around this speech, but regardless of the who, how and why, the words that Johnson delivered were spot-on perfect.

The best summary of our wonderful Queen of whom we all believe would be there forever with her beautiful warm smile. RIP.

Incredible tribute by the former PM! This is the Boris we should have had in No10 His majority would've been even higher!! Oh well, maybe next time, eh?!?! 🤔

As our Queen, it will take quite a while to accept that she is not with us anymore. Our hearts are sorrowful that we have lost a great great Queen and lady. Rest in Peace your Majesty, you will never be forgotten.
