Bear in mind that Queen Elizabeth II lived to be 96, Prince Philip died just short of his 100th birthday, and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother lived to be 101. If Charles inherited the longevity genes, he could easily have a 20-year reign ahead of him, so we may have a long wait until William and Catherine become King and Queen!

It was a moment the Commonwealth can be proud of, gave me goosebumps, and tears of joy and longing for my Motherland, though I still reside in the Commonwealth. Love from West Australia 🇦🇺🇬🇧 The most spine tingling moment for me was when saw our future Queen, Princess Catherine and Sir Bryn Terfel sing Arglwydd, trugarhâ (Lord, Have Mercy). Moved me to tears.

That was so beautiful. I expect for Charles and Camilla to look fabulous but William and Kate were just as fabulous. What an amazing event.

The many people attending ,various colors and the garments of the Duke ,and Duchess Of Wales ,the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh ,King Charles in cloth of gold ,his grave expression ,Queen Camillia in white ,, Prince George performing his part as royal page very well, Duty ,service ,loyalty to the people ,as it should be !!Queen Elizabethand Prince Philip would of been so proud of their son !!!

A continuous line of history, heritage and culture of our people lasting over a thousand years.. As a kiwi it blows my mind that while the Māori were being blown around the Pacific looking for land my ancestors were building the amazing cathedral this took place in!

Their customs and basic ways continued until Britain began to send settlers there instead of Aussie, and brought things like wheels, cabin houses and other signs of Western modernity of its day. The Incas and Aztecs were as culturally advanced almost as the Egyptians..almost and who knows how they might have progressed had the Spanish not plundered their gold, killed the King's, priests etc and driven the survivors away to survive for a short time only....Britain benefited from Roman and Norman technology and culture and after initial resistance did come to accept new ways and become more innovative..one person invents and later on it gets improved and adapted like cars and computers etc. for Incas and Aztecs their skills and buildings became their downfall when greedy Spain rocked by. Maori are not indigenous to NZ as they paddled there from all over the Pacific not they were the earliest settlers. and I understand only the Aborigines of Australia are an indigenous peoples who also did not develop like Incas etc until again Britains arrived with a few French thrown into the mix, although there was not the same feeling shown towards the existing peoples as was shown to the Maori tribes. Thank goodness Maori display great flair and innovation in modern times and become almost modern day Incas.

Time to abolish this outdated monarchy with a bloody past. And teach the cruel colonial history to British kids in schools. This king's mother ,the so-called 'Queen' left behind a legacy of denial of treacherous plunder from nations, killing of innocent, unarmed civilians through inhuman laws and staying defiant on the crimes against humanity that her Empire perpetrated. She had 70 years to openly repent for their actions, but never once did I hear I'm sorry, or please forgive us, not once. She also had all the time in the world to return some or all of the stolen stones and artifacts from Africa and Indian subcontinent but never did. The torture, and Mutilation of people in the colonies can never be forgotten, or forgiven. She must be remembered in the light of her greedy, selfish actions and not some romanticized, redundant title. May those who perished because of her family's greed find peace. May humanity be spared from such characters in future. Americans are such hypocrites than on one hand they claim to fight slavery and racism and on the other hand they celebrate fake icons like this.

Bear in mind that Queen Elizabeth II lived to be 96, Prince Philip died just short of his 100th birthday, and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother lived to be 101. If Charles has inherited the longevity genes, he could easily have a 20-year reign ahead of him, so we may have a bit of a wait for King William and Queen Catherine.

I love the chour and the trumpets!!! Fun seeing everyone dressed up.

Being an American, I find all the ceremony around this somewhat interesting. However, I may not live to see another crowning of the king of England so I am glad I was able to see this at least once in my lifetime. It’s all very beautiful with the pageantry of it all.

The lord-serf government is a historical folly, why countries that claim rationalism and empiricism still approve stupid things. As a fellow American as well I too find it interesting but at the same time I wonder why they don’t just abolish the monarchy all together. Seems silly to still have them around. Give the symbolism to the pm and turn the palace into a museum.

It’s an astronomical waste of money and many Americans do not agree with it. Plus, it’s boring and the ugliest clothes on record.
