Dominica is a Carribean Island which exists purely because of slavery. My ancestors were stolen from Africa, they were raped, beaten, dehumanised and enslaved simply for being black. What a wonderful ceremony. The chior did such a marvelous job. They deserver a round of applause at the end.

I love everything about it, the pomp, the ceremony, the symbolism and the robes and outfits worn. The UK should cherish and preserve this, something so rare but yet magnificent in every way. Most royal families don't even have coronation ceremonies now

Think of the context, he is only King because his mother died, while a coronation is to be a time of celebration, it is also a time of sadness for a beloved monarch who has left us.

To be honest, I thought he looked throughly embarrassed! and I swear it looked like he was holding back laughter at one point! Personally, I would say this is something he just doesn’t want! If I had been him I would have just passed the crown straight over to William Think he’s more in touch with younger generations and the 21st century as a whole
