You are SO good at analyzing and then teaching your craft, it’s a wonder you haven’t blown up yet
Thank you for your practical advice! This is why your channel is my favorite.
I've watched half a dozen or so of your videos so far and I've learned something profound in EVERY SINGLE ONE. Thank you!
I absolutely love this suggestion! I always have trouble with describing scenery, buildings, rooms, etc. because in real life, I am not very observant. But this is so simple! It's nice knowing you don't need a ton of details; just a few pertinent ones. I can definitely do this. 😁
Excellent examples to explain the process, Jane!
That Arthur Conan Doyle prompt definitely sounds like the start of an intriguing mystery. A fake medium (redundant statement, I know) has a crisis of conscience, or maybe discovers that they actually DO have the gift...
Excellent video!
This was a great video! Thank you for explaining this so well. Having examples really helps.
Marvellous. The best explanation I have seen of this technique.
I need to sit down and practice this!
Excellent advice 👏👏👏👏😊🌹
Thanks for your helpful insights ot the mystery writing craft
Wow. Finally someone shows examples of this. Thanks Jane.
You are a genius
Such a wonderful technique!
Great video! I remember when I had to delete a bunch of info dumping in my fantasy story. I was happy that I still had 15k words
THIS IS FUCKING GENIUS OMG I NEEDED THIS
Jane! Thanks for all your amazing help. I’ve been watching your videos for a few weeks and am almost finished with the outline of my cozy mystery. Your videos are like the creative writing classes I never took. The examples you provide and how detailed you are explaining the concepts is just brilliant.
I love this technique, and though I’ve heard you explain it before, this is the best one for me. ❤
Excellent tip! Simple, actionable and extremely effective. The examples provided were very helpful too as they really drive the point home. Makes me want to try this with some of my lore, even if just as a writing exercise. You have gained yourself a subscriber. c:
