Wow, Aaron KILLED IT with that rules explanation. Bravo, sir!
YEAHY! A new episode! Instant like! :-) Thank you guys for this awesome show! I love every single episode!
Lincoln's freaking smile at the beginning wins the internet. Too funny.

It was Aaron's 5th or 6th time trying to get that intro. It was getting more ridiculous each time. :-)

Can you make a blooper reel at the end of a season or something like that? :D That would be super fun. Cheers! (Another great playthrough :D )
What a cool game! I think Aaron does a great job teaching the rules even though this one required a lot of explanation. I appreciate all the hard work you guys put in, editing these seems like a nightmare. These are my favorite videos on KZread!
Just wanted to quickly say thanks for the closed captioning! It's always an appreciated feature :) (Oh, and good video - I love Aaron's rules explanations.)
My favorite episode yet! You guys are hilarious!! By the way, Aaron did an AMAZING job with the rules
I love the elegance of the road design going around the tile to save space. Nice choice.
Thank you for the great explanation and play through.
Great that you mix up those on the show!
Lincoln cracks me up with his Huge smile!!!!
Dave and Aaron are the greatest rule explainers on Earth.
This kind of reminds me of the Wasteland videogame. It looks really fun. :)
It seems you can be lucky and draw a Faction Mission that overlaps with one of the public missions. So that one action (such as a delivery) can gain you two steps to winning.
holy crap, Linc's laugh at the intro is fricking hilarious!! lmao
Ok so I am a big fan of the original gang - Dave (missed ya), Lincoln, Nikki, and Aaron! I have been watching from season 1. Love ya all!! But Kevin, you are pretty amusing, maybe leave the singing to the professional! lol Thank you all for this videos!! #fangirl - Crystal 😊

Happy 2 Plan well he was getting over a cold ;-)
8088. Ha ha! There's a term you don't hear very often anymore.
Two questions: * Is moving the raider trucks optional? I seem to recall another video saying that it was a required action whenever you land on their corresponding spaces. * What's to prevent you from drawing a faction job from a capital, leave the capital, turn around, come back and get another one with your second outpost action, then wait, next turn, do the same, basically camp that place and discarding the cards that aren't private Priority First Class, rinse repeat and thus just hoard faction jobs until you get all private Priority First Class contracts on your hand?
I'm new to this game and learning the rules, so could someone explain why, at 1:52:15, Kevin (and Nikki after that) didn't roll for Raider damage when they crossed the radiation tile with the Raider truck sitting on it? Many thanks for a reply!

They just forgot... repeatedly.
I think Keven was skipped over once in round 2 around 1:14:00 He only used 4 actions that round.

Was there a reason that people stopped rolling for the green truck from 1:42:00? Keven, Nicky and Kevin again all drove through the radiation zone and whilst the radiation die was rolled (or ignored by shielding) each time the raider die was never mentioned.

Cthulwho? Nope. They should have rolled for damage.
this is basically the fallout board game
45 minutes before the actual game started? Must be a new record.

I wonder how long it would take for Duel of Ages.
Where can we find that artwork hanging in the background in the introduction?

They'll be stocked at boardgamegeekstore.com soon, looks like they aren't there yet.
I like the map.
Every time I see Kevin in these videos, I always think, "Wow, how did they get George Lucas to play a game with them?" Then I remember it's Kevin.
Does the market/economy restart every round?
Are the events in a fixed order, or are they shuffled, and "Try not to die" is just placed on top? ... Or were you just extremely lucky?

That's always the first Event. Subsequent events are randomised.

It’s been too long guys. TOO LONG!
Something I don't understand is, there are 6 playable characters but only 25 action tokens. And I noticed the board was 2 - 5 players, so they must have really meant it to never be possible to play with all characters on the board. But why? This baffles me. It's just one more character so it can't be for the clutter. Was it an economic question? Like, 5 more action tokens for every copy of the game was just that much more costly to produce?
I feel like I finally have to say it, but, Aaron, you keep getting hotter every episode. I could listen to you explain rules all day.

40 minutes of rules explanation, wow :(

inhumanbookworm the thing is the game is pretty easy, except for the bookkeeping and a few not really clear cards and those weren't hard, just a little hard to remember. I think Aaron just wanted to make sure it was very clear since we had questions.

Thanks Lincoln, it looks interesting and is on my list of games to play so I'm happy to hear that it's not as complicated as it could appear from that rules explanation :)

I think that sometimes rules can take a while to explain because there are a lot of choices. But then gameplay is simple and fluid because players won't be taking advantage of ALL of the choices (unless they are my indecisive step-brother). :D

I really dislike their rules explanations. Like every little detail. Soooo slow. Its painful. Its ok to teach half this stuff while playing. Nobody on earth takes 35 minutes to teach this game to a group. It sucks i have to skip ahead everytime i watch these. I know your trying to be thorough but seriously focus on being more EFFICIENT in your overview of the rules.

Some folks like full explanations though. I used to teach games while playing, and got nothing but neverending complaints from players who weren't sure of what they were doing. But I do have other friends in other play groups who share your same opinion about game learning, so I am not trying to invalidate your opinion. I think it's just difficult to please everyone. It doesn't have to be painful for you though-if you look at the description of the video, they have a link to when the game starts. That way, if you don't like the rules explanation, you can simply skip to the gameplay (they do a good job of explaining what they are doing as they go, so you can skip worry-free I think) and then people who prefer the more detailed explanation can watch from the beginning.
Is Dave okay?
Game seems figgitty
My god, I'm glad Kevin is not in too many videos. intolerable.
First!
