Washington held their annual Pro Day inside Dempsey Indoor. All 32 NFL teams were in attendance, as well as hundreds of media, staff, other players, friends, and family.
Michael Penix Jr. ran the 40-yard dash, did the vertical jump, and participated in the throwing session. His 40-time wowed the audience and quickly got picked up nationally. Penix Jr. appeared to have adjusted his throwing motion slightly, looking more compact and in control.
He threw to five pass catchers including Ja'Lynn Polk, Jalen McMillan, Jack Westover, Devin Culp, and Giles Jackson (support player).
Bralen Trice worked out with Chargers defensive line coach Mike Elston, and Edefuan Ulofoshio looked smooth at linebacker. Dom Hampton also ran the 40-yard dash and looked good working out with the defensive backs coaches.
Former Washington head coach Chris Petersen was on hand. Some of his former players were working out at Pro Day, and he met with familiar faces. Seahawks GM John Schneider was on hand, as was Giants head coach Brian Daboll.
