Did you even watch the championship game? Where was he. Every team he faces from now on is going to be better than Michigan. I understand that losing is part of the game. But you at least have to show up. It was like he wasn't even there.

The coaching staff is what was limiting the vertical game. Every time they decided to implement it, Aidan killed it. The Chargers game is a prime example. Aidan picked them apart. Don't say that the Chargers laid down for them, anyone who watched that game and knows football, knows that Aidan just crushed them. The inexperienced AP and Bo were ultra conservative most of the time. They did the same thing with the Minnesota and Chiefs game. Somehow the defense pulled that Chiefs win out of their a$$ in spite of the coaching failures.

It takes a lot of character to recover from not 1 but 2 ACL inujuries and be a better player after. I find it a little silly that Falcons "fans" are booing the pick using the excuse that we just signed a 36-year old QB to a 4 (2, really) year deal at 36.... 36. So we could get 10 years from Penix before he's 36. I can live with having our QB issues solved for the next 12 years.... Would I prefer to have a help me now guy at #8, yeah, probably, but I see this as a viable approach.

Penix is easily the best pocket passer in this draft.. Hell he would have been the best in last years draft as well..

lol yeah cause caleb, maye, and daniels had such amazing years against good oponents. Its sad that one game matters for penix but the others had 4+ losses each. He is the best qb in the class. And i suspect there will be 11 team wishing they had taken him. He goes 13 to LV, and wins rookie of the year AND gets LV into the playoffs.

It totally depends on the talent around you. Penix didn't show up when he was needed the most. This kind of Fantasy thinking is most frustrating I think. Aidan or Menshew will get the Raiders to the playoffs, so your bar is not so high.

I’d love for him to stay in Seattle

I'm hopin for the Commanders to trade #2 for the ransom and end up withe Penix. He's my guy.

He's a PA QB that could not run PA in the NC game against Michigan (because he had an injured RB). And he was playing from behind, it was a disaster waiting to happen. Not sure holding it against him because he didn't produce in a game where few PA QBs COULD produce makes any sense.

What really worries me about this dude is his injury history. If the Raiders decide not give it all to move up and draft Jayden Daniels then yeah I hope they draft this guy.

Michael Penix is a horrible prospect haha, all those injuries and he is a horrible improviser and really benefitted from his supporting cast, the guy was nothing special at Indiana but once he goes to UW with Odunze, Polk and McMillan, all NFL receivers.. with nfl offensive lineman blocking for him

Hasn't had a major injury in like 3 or 4 years but by all means keep spitting out those bot talking points you are just parroting from the talking heads.

I watched the championship game against Michigan, I was not impressed at all. He looked mediocre at best. Many people say that you can't look at that game and judge him overall. When he gets to the NFL, every team will be better than Michigan.
