Love his runs after the catch, not restricted to lanes, hard to tackle on the diagonal, doesn’t wholly rely upon momentum.

I am officially Sold on Brock Purdy. He has proven that he reads defenses well and is great at avoiding pressure. On top of that he isn't afraid of pushing the ball downfield! Great win Niner Gang let's keep fighting for the 2 seed 🔥🏈

@@juangarza7561 it's not a live play. Sacks only count on plays from scrimmage. For example, if a defender intercepts the ball on a two point conversion, they can't return it. The play is just dead right there. Whoops. Karim is right. It can be returned. But it doesn't count as an interception. Weird rule loophole.

Purdy should get better and better considering this is only his first NFL season. I really don't want to see my 49ers lose another Superbowl though. We were 5-0 at one point and have lost the last 2 in heartbreaking fashion, I cant fathom a 3rd straight SB loss. What an amazing story it would be if Purdy can lead this team to a title,it would be one of the best sports stories of all-time.

History has shown that the phrase “defense wins championships” is not just a cliché. If the Niners win the Super Bowl a large amount of the credit has to go to their great defense they do deserve it. But in regards to a great story when you consider that the NFL, the media, football analyst, and most fans think that quarterback is the hardest and most important position in football and then when you consider that it’s a rookie in that position and not just any rookie it’s a rookie who was the third string quarterback, a rookie who wasn’t drafted as the future of the franchise, a rookie who received the NFL’s title of Mr. Irrelevant because he was the very last player drafted, if the Niners win the Super Bowl with Mr. Irrelevant as their starting quarterback, that would be one of the best sports stories of all time and it would arguably be the best NFL story of all time.

This 49ers team look scary hot🔥. Watch out when Deebo come back..going be even more scarier. Purdy fit perfectly into the 49ers offense as QB that's driving the juggernaut of an offensive. Jimmy G been holding the team back for years despite his winning records. 49ers need draft OLs next year and DBs depth as well as top end speed WRs and RBs

Purdy's first TD was superb, He looked left, then center to see Kittle, and then right to look off the defense, You can't teach that. Purdy is the real deal.

It could be said that Purdy makes it easier on the defense because of how well Brock runs the offense, the defense gets plenty of rest on the sidelines, while the Niners offense chew up time off the clock. Today's game was not a great example because Washington had won the time of possession but usually the Niners win time of possession, so that the offense is on the field for the majority of the time.

About damn time they started using Kittle consistently as a weapon again. That pass he caught on the goal line was unbelievable. Some of the best hands in the league. Finally getting the touches and stats he deserves. He's near unstoppable and the Niners needed that piece of the puzzle to turn it up notch offensively.

@MixedEnergyHD Maybe to some extent, but I would hope to still see him get his touches when it's there for the taking. He scored 4 TDs in 2 games lol. Nearly 5 if he was a little closer to that goal line. It would be foolish to not keep him in the loop. He's on fire right now. It had a little bit to do with Kyle's play calling too. He's being a little more aggressive with Purdy than he was with Jimmy. The plays are looking slightly different now. Purdy is building a stronger relationship with Kittle. He just might be his favorite target as of now. Kyle was more conservative with Jimmy. The last time Jimmy threw a deep ball was 2019 lol. This is what the Niners lacked. If they can put together a high-powered offense that can throw down the field, they would be even more dangerous.

I saw the interception on the stats but now watching what happened I can firmly say that that was NOT AT ALL Brock's fault.

they will have to do that to win. Offence is good but not hgh powered . mostly ball control and quick safe passes with occasional deep shot to keep them honest. As long as they play balanced football they will go deep in the playoffs.

@@ttkok11 The run and short passing game is working because the O-line is playing a lot better than it did earlier in the season. they will have to continue to play that well in order for SF to run the ball and keep pressure of Purdy . Sf is not built to get into a shootout. They will be facing teams with Qb,s that can put up 21pt,s in less the 5 minutes in the playoffs. It will be up to the O-line and the defence to continue to play at the this level to keep the game under control. this team will go as far as the defence and O-line will carrie them.

They’re great and I’m pumped but they could lose anytime when a team comes to play and brings a big fight and they decide not to. That’s why they say it takes some luck in the playoffs. I'll never forget the time I met Brock Purdy. I was working as a contractor in the back hallways of the practice facility when he came walking by. He had to slow down and kind of squeeze by me as I was on a step ladder in the hallway. As he got even with me, he stopped right in front of me as I was facing outward with my back to the step ladder and facing him. He looked up, smiled and said "grope ya later" then gave my privates a firm but playful squeeze. He then walked away. It was the strangest thing ever.

i cant explain just how happy it makes me to see my team come so far, after many years of challenges and injury, they are just on an amazing charge its absolutely fantastic to see

It's always good to see that the 49ers defense and offense are working out well on the football field. Let's see if they can keep it up for the rest of the season

That dude is the key to the 49ers winning a championship. They have always have problems in the secondary and they still do, but with him added this off-season has made them better. They rarely throw his way. As soon as he went out due to injury mclaurin had that big play. Before that he had him to what 1 catch for 9 yards if I’m not mistaken

That’s just crazy how some say Purdy doesn’t have the arm strength,yet I couldn’t see the ball leaving his arm when he threw the ball to Kittle on that last play when he caught it low and crawled to the end zone but down before so no TD. That was a rocket,baseball fastball

When i saw brock dad teared up in his first start i knew this is gonna be one for the story books..this kid playin like as if his life is on the line wow so fun to watch

Purdy has been amazing even knowing when to take a sack instead of making a forced bad throw the way some rookies often do. And OMG the defense on that red zone stop and 4th and short stops...unbeatable!

The problem with Lance is that he keeps finding ways to get himself hurt. Eventually Shanahan might be forced to forget about him simply because he can't stay healthy long enough to play to his potential...

Even though it's way to early to start making comparisons, Brock Purdy seems to have an on-the-field demeanor similiar to Joe Montana. He keeps his cool, uses his athletic talents well and shows the maturity of a veteran. It's just simply fun to watch him play.

yup I agree, the key to this offense don't try to do too much yet capitalize on big play opportunites. Joe Montana said he is just a mail man jut deliver ball into hands of playmakers. the cerebral part of Purdy's game brings a calm to the offense, etc. being last pick he fell into the perfect situation for his talents. Brock Purdy was a beast in big 12, broke records at Iowa State, dude knows how to grind and bring his lunch pail

Purdy makes Jimmy G look like Alternative League QB all jokes aside . Poise in the pocket with 0 happy feet and can actually threaten defenses with the long ball and he is decisive with where he wants to go . I’m impressed but him and Hakeem Butler did great things at Iowa State

Purdy indeed has been picking up jewels from the man Belichik had behind Brady for years. Sometimes this year Jimmy has looked nearly identical. This team could win the SB with Juice starting at Q

5:43 is such a beautiful throw by Purdy! I absolutely love how this kid throws. There’s really no wobble to it. Just as perfect of a spiral as you can get. It’s a real thing of beauty.
