He just keeps throwing those pinpoint passes all over the field! That back shoulder to Deebo for the TD was pretty! However he did overthrow CMC a bit on that other TD-ha ha! Fell down after leaping for the catch and trucked on into the endzone though! Purdy perhaps will get that perfect game or close to it the way he's going!

People forget what happened in the NFC chanpionship game. CMC is a phenom, but he wouldn’t have as many opportunities if Purdy wasn’t delivering DOTS in the passing game. CMC benefits from the overall scheme just as much as Purdy.

They all benefit from the scheme and have elite players in different positions. Teams typically will focus on the "star player" but the Niners have multiple star players. This really opens things up for them and I think they feed off of this and it makes for better team play vs feeling all the pressure being "the guy" or feeling you are not getting the ball, etc. They're happy to support, block, and win together in an unselfish way that's also fun for them!

Jauan Jennings for sure would be a starter. Their Punter is all pro ffs. Maybe their special teams overall is average and their OL but each of those have at least 1 all pro player in key spots. I don't think its just those two playing at the MVP level, but definitely most of those playmakers on offense and defense could be on the list of offensive and defensive players of the year.

He's done one better, he's gotten to a team that could very well be a Super Bowl contender. Brock Purdy is so poised and mature for being so young, truly a pleasure to watch him play.

Another great performance by Brock Purdy. I don’t understand why people say he doesn’t deserve the MVP. He deserves it more than anybody else in NFL and he should win it.

As a 49er fan, I often thing I'm spoiled to see so much talent. I notice it most when watching other games & so many plays either don't work or not nearly as well. I just expect great things when I watch their games. :)

The hot read Purdy did at 14:14 is something to behold, to have that composure knowing you are going to be slammed to the ground and putting the ball exactly where it had to be, that is rare even for elite quarterbacks.

Cardinals are the least expensive and most injured defense in the league. You beat a bunch of practice squad and waiver guys. I still think the Niners are the best team in the NFC, just not invincible.

I knew we'd be leaky against the run today, but I was still surprised when I heard they had over 200 yards rushing against us at the end. And yet we smoked them. The rest of the D still did their job exceedingly well.

Sam darnold was thrown into fire and expected to carry the jets. Hell even Aaron rodgers has yet to prove he can make that offense work. The jets had a number 3 pick and a number 2 pick and ruined them both.

Absolutely. Cardinals are a few good moves away from being real contenders. But so are the Seahawks. My prediction next year is Rams are last in the division and will be so for 3-4 years. 9ers remain on top until either A. Brock Purdy gets a real paycheck. B. Trent Williams retires.

I counted easily 5 beautiful amazing dimes thrown by Purdy. He reads the D so fast and can switch multiple reads inside of 2-3 seconds and make such perfect throws between 2 or 3 or sometimes 4 defenders putting the ball perfectly into his WR or TE hands. Purdy is going to be MVP this season for sure. Dude reminds me of Brady

As another pats fan, I completely agree and it's mostly why I've been such a Purdy lover. Dude is like Brady reincarnate lol. I really cant wait to see him develop and grow. I just hope he keeps the chip on his shoulder and doesn't grow a huge Ego.

9ers should play mason more. hes a great runner and is more than capable of trading touches with mccaffery for the rest of the regular season.

Mason should have about 5 rushes a game, 15 for McCaffrey (and around 3-5 receptions). That being said, Juszczyk should also be getting the ball more as he is a supreme talent. It is difficult because McCaffrey is the engine that makes the 49ers go so you don’t want to take too many touches away from him.
