Smith had high completion ratio too, because they both make 90% short, safe chip-shot passes, a lot of which are just glorified pitches to Caff. We've gotten away with it so far, I doubt we'll be so lucky against Dallas....

As a long time Cardinals fan, I’ve seen some really disappointing QBs in the last 20 years. I’m talking some of the biggest 1st rounder flops. For Dobbs to come in the week before the season started, learn a new system, throw to new receivers and all the sudden being thrown into a starting role as a career backup…the kid has impressed me. He improves every week, doesn’t throw INTs and has the ability to scramble when the protection breaks down. This trade has paid off in Kyler’s absence ✊🏼

Agreed, I live in NC and absolutely loved CMAC on our team but it made me so happy to see him get traded to a team where his career wouldn't be totally squandered. He's my favorite player to watch, with Taysom Hill a close second!

Purdy was 20/21 in this game, the fourth best completion percentage of any game with 20 or more pass attempts. Dobbs and Carolina are also looking much better than everyone expected them to be. A moral victory for them this week.

My dad used to have me watch games from the Montana and Young Era’s. I remember Jeff Garcia when I could understand and appreciate football. Brock is special. I haven’t seen a QB this exciting since that era. This kid is smart, he moves the chains, he uses footwork, makes ALL his reads EVERY play (that’s intelligence), and has the SKILL to throw a beautiful spiral to hit his read through some very tight coverages. The kid is special. EXPECT some Super Bowls fellow Niner fans, this is a GOLDEN ERA!

The Cardinals showed last week against a staunch Dallas team that they are here to fight. Most of their games were close and San Francisco did not underestimate them. CMC is an absolute weapon. Brock Purdy with 20/21 completions to weapons all across the offense and the Defense holding them to just 16. The 49ers are the most complete team in the league at this moment. What a performance.

The 49ers have a tremendous offense. Aiyuk, CMC simply dominated the field. The defense, which had been quiet in the beginning, eventually revived, and showed one game one Sack again. I live in Korea (south), so I had to wake up at 5 a.m. But I never regret it. Because I saw the 49ers win from the beginning. It was a rewarding day.

The takeaway is they didn't overlook what could have been a trap game. That's always a plus. And I'm absolutely not dissing Arizona. They played well and are improved. I’ve seen a niners team this stacked before. It was the late 80s with montana, rice, craig, Lott, young just to name a few. I was just a kid during that first dynasty. I think this team is just as stacked and talented.

Brock Purdy looked so much improved with his downfield throws today! If he keeps it up, he could well end up rivaling the other 49er greats. Dallas will be a real challenge next week though.

Long way to go for that to happen, but I honestly agree. If you look at the system he's playing in and the countless weapons, and I don't think Deebo had a catch and Kittle only had 1, Purdy has the chance to be a great 49er but a long way to go. I remember all the weapons that Young and Montana had to get the ball to and this team is similar to those including great defenses. Long season to go but they have so far taken care of business.

He could be protecting Purdy from lots of long throws early in the season because he's still getting his arm strengthened. I love that McCaffery’s been able to stay healthy behind this stellar Offensive line here. That makes a massive for both his effectiveness and his longevity. Not to mention, he’s just so good at what he does. I’d make the argument that he’s MVP, or at the very least OPOTY this season already.

I grew up with the 49er's, seeing Montana, Rice, Clark, Young, etc. destroy the competition and this reminds me of that. Kudos to the Cardinal's quarterback for not giving up. Purday, CMC, Brandon Aiyuk (which I didn't see anyone mention in the comments) and team reminds me of their golden era... here's to them winning the Super Bowl this year. Good luck boys!

As a Cowboys fan, I'm sure 49ers fans is also excited to play us next week which is the game I've been waiting since week 1. It should be a big test for us especially for a team that is still undefeated. Brock Purdy. What a performance. Not perfect from Dobbs, but he showed he has some ability and I was pleasantly surprised. Nice game on both sides

purdy good but hes not top 5. cardinals secondary very banged up and didnt have budda baker whos a top 5 safety. purdy can be top 10 soon if he keeps playing well, but he hasnt proven enough yet. Im not saying hes bad, but just not that mahomes, allen, hurts, herbert, burrow type level

CM is a monster. The 49er offense would have been fantastic even if he did not join them. Now, it's insane.

It's still early but can anyone honestly say they didn't expect the 49ers to be great? Niners are solid, top to bottom, and they have gamebreakers at all the necessary positions on the football field. Best team in the NFL so far.

Man this team is scary good. They been this too. Went to the SB with Jimmy and now they are even better with CMC and Purdy! I am a Cowboys fan and I just don’t see how we can beat this team unless the defense plays absolutely flawless football. I don’t see that happening, unfortunately😢 I don’t think this game will be as close as the last few playoff games. My best guess is the 9ers win 31-15(Dallas with 5 FGs lol!)

The Niners always start a little slow. You can do that when your defense has great athletes and the offense can completely control the ball and the clock.

Cards are way better then I thought they would be and Dobs looks good!

Purdy and CMC was textbook today. Love it!

@@hagamapama before the game I was hoping that they don't under estimated them. The Cardinals are a very resilient team. Dobbs can really facilitate their offense and can hold their own. I just thought that our defense could've avoided some plays especially the touchdown before halftime.
