This game was a Super Bowl type of game and the energy and the back and forth was unbelievable. I thought my Niners was done in this game but they kept coming back and matching it

Not really the game was terrible refs really ruined a lot of it

Bosa came in clutch during OT, you can see how strong he is pushing the D lineman back to Stidham and made him throw a shortened throw.. Bosa always the MVP

Really wish the contract with Jarryd Hayne, a well renowned rugby player from down under, would of fleshed out better than it did. Just goes to show each sport has unique talent and strength in order to succeed; I remember his first regular season play he returned a punt and just got creamed because he didn't call for a fair catch, wasn't ever really comfortable on the gridiron after that. G reat to see American Football gain attention around the world, a wildly intricate, brutal, and exhilarating game. EDIT: Just googled Hayne to be sure I spelled it right, first I've heard of his conviction and mistrial etc, pretty wild.

Honestly as a Raiders fan I’m not too mad about this loss. That int at the end definitely hurt, but overall rlly impressed with Stidham in this game. He far exceeded my expectation. Putting up 34 on the top defense in the league is pretty impressive. I’m glad we competed when no one expected us too. GG niners 🖤

Just saw Davante say on Twitter that when he caught his second TD, he and Stidham met up on the sideline. Stidham got hit so hard that he had blood in his teeth. It's like when I used to go see my Los Angeles Raiders play the Chiefs in the Coliseum during the first half of the 90's. We could never beat them but it was ALWAYS one helluva game that came down to a field goal at the most...and nobody left mad.

@@sethchandler4170 Dude...did you watch these highlights? Go back and watch again, half of Purdys throws were threaded into tight coverage. The 49ers offense relies ALOT on timing also, and if a QB has no rhythm they can't run this team.

As a raiders fan, I feel like this was a win for us, the fact we made a 11-4 team with the best defense nearly lose against a 6-9 team who keeps struggling every match, that atleast makes me happy.

@@raidergainzx5290 That was more on more coverage by the secondary and bad playcalling on defense with zero half time adjustments at halftime. Ryans called like only 4 blitzes and only ran like 2 stunts the whole game. Also they played soft coverage giving Stidham tons of time in the pocket. They should have created more pressure on him instead of telling the line to push in a straight line. After the half they could have come out blitzing and pressing the coverage to get the Stidham off balance instead of handing him easy pockets to either throw or scramble through.

@Joshua Maddox defense has always been the problem, or at least since '02. Stidham looked really good, and I'm excited about the possibilities with him. He knows this system (been in it for 3 years). It's just funny to hear people finally blaming the defense when this is what they've done all season. Blow leads and lose the game. Carr took all the blame, and the defense was somehow praised. This was Carr's 1st year in yet another offensive system, and boy did the playcalling look suspiciously different. No gadget, trick plays that failed miserably, and much more play action and 2 back sets. Still a Raiders fan and excited for Stidham's tenure, but my goodness our defense needs help.

I'm just happy to see these two teams play each other again. What a battle!!!

Ian gon lie I loved the 2 young Quarterbacks going head to head ..with a lot of confidence

these games are getting crazy good lately. Props to the Raiders for not giving up on the season.

The coolest part about this game is that the crowd is divided about 50/50 so it has a similar energy to a bowl game

I already knew who had won, but my heart was still racing just from watching these highlights! Forever Faithful!

If u saw this game with no history, u wouldn't have guess it was a rookie QB on one side and a QB making his first start after four years. This was a great game. I'm not a fan of either team but I was a fan of this game. Great Game

Respect to Stidham and the Raiders, they were fighting to the last second and played a hell of a game.

What a game, one of the most intense I've seen in years

SF and LV appreciated with a salute for providing fans with quality football and effort joy to watch

This was great! It gave Purdy a chance to show that not only can he play from behind instead of having a lead all the time, he also has the ability to lead last minute drives! Defense came through when it counted most even though they weren't great most of the game. And props to Robbie Gould for not letting his previous mistake phase him and come through the way a veteran kicker should. Only the best of teams can play through adversity like this and come out winners on top. Go Niners!!

The best thing about this season is the play of the young quarterbacks. They have been playing like veterans and both of them in this game made it very entertaining.

I’m happy the 49ers won… and and mad respect to the Raiders… But our secondary needs to clean up on giving up big plays ASAP!!!

Eh Raiders kind of got lucky with the bad refs this game....wouldnt have done close to this good if the refs actually did good. Though I agree they still need to fix stuff

Had to come rewatch this! 49ers coming back to “ LEVIS-EAST” for the Super Bowl! we bringing that trophy home this year!

What an awesome game! I'm glad I didn't miss this one. Both teams played extremely well and either team winning would be well deserved. Super exciting game!

This game was one of the best in the league all year! The offense stepped up big time today

Niners and Raiders have met only a handful of times in the modern era, but back in the day if you were a fan of one team, you gave respect and props to the other. The bay area never had crosstown rivalries like some other places did, in fact a lot of big names like Roger Craig and Jerry Rice ended up playing for both franchises. It was all love in the bay.

@@seanchandra1613 i mean i was born in 2000 and i remember growing up raiders vs niners was always a big deal and it was/is rivalry also gang culture played a part with some Oakland and sf gangs. Also the nfl made us only play once every 4 years because there were too many fights and altercations at our games. Literally every bar in my town had a raider vs niner event

it wasnt really that big at all lol.. maybe you thought it was.. but it really didnt matter to the 49ers.. if they lost it wouldnt affect their post season in any way... And for the Raiders, if they won they would just be prolonging their misery as they eventually be knocked out of the post season if they made it all

This game showed me all I needed to see from our qb . Brock is the future will be franchise qb

I can see that Purdy v Stidham QB matchup being one to watch for a long time, providing the teams stick with their rising stars

Purdy showed a lot more to me in this game than he did in some of the blowout gams. Every QB is going to have games when the magic isn't there, things go wrong, he makes mistakes, his players make mistakes, and gotta still find a way to get it done. That's what Purdy did tonight. He pulled out a mediocre game and executed well enough to win anyway -- like a veteran QB sometimes has to do. Well done sir. Also from a leaguewide standpoint, Stidham was a pleasant surprise. He just elevated his position in the league and probably gave himself a few years as backup on various teams. He coulda won this game, and against a great team too. Looking good kid!.

This was the best the Raiders have looked all year. And I feel like I traveled back in time. The Niners are back the a great offensive scheme, plug n play at qb just like when they went from Montana, to Young.

Well we lost but I'm happy that they put up a fight against the Niners. Stidham played very well against the best defense in the NFL. Congrats to the Niners and their fans.

Stidham looked like he belonged. A few mistakes but he played a complete game for the most part. The big pick at the end happened because Bosa pancaked him with his own guard, that's nobody's fault but Bosa's lol. Anyway, nobody smart is gonna hold that pick against Stidham, and the Raiders despite being huge underdogs played well enough to win if things had bounced better for them. Despite the L at the end this definitely says more good things than bad about the future of the Raiders.

It's such a pleasure to watch my Niners play this well. Went to watch them play against the Dolphins this year and that was so much fun.
