I'll also refrain from stating my conclusion on what happened until after the show the over. But you can probably draw a conclusion based on what we know so far: Angela has released a version of Bohemian Rhapsody which you can buy via iTunes. It's available under her own label. To do so clearly indicates that she has secured the rights to do so. Having met her mother and talked about Angelina's career, it's clear her family is protective of Angelina, and guiding her decisions. Although you arrive at the same conclusion given that Angelina is still a kid! Given that Angelina has the rights to this particular performance, it means she worked out a specific arrangement with AGT because AGT contracts generally take control of such rights. So if you want to draw some conclusion here about why her AGT performance was taken down, you could make the argument that both AGT and Angelina and even Simon could have their own motive to do so. As for Angelina, having the video taken down is actually a good thing, even if you want to believe there is some conspiracy otherwise. Because it means sales of the song generate revenue for her. It means she retained some rights. It means her family is looking out for her.

As you said, it is family business. I tell you what is my opinion. Athletes perform in Grand Prix for money, in the Olympics for fame. You can't monetize performance made for live TV show. * I had with her anyway. She always had crazy talents and vocals ... but never a performance. She had no structure, idea, message, convey emotions or right arrangement.... now she comes out of the blue with all the right things ?! How? ... Somebody did it to her, for she is incapable to. How do I know? ... She never did it. She never been any close to this level. In comparison Dinana Ankudinova does it with almost all her performance. * So the man behind this could be the main factor. We will probably never know.

This works like the Miss World competitions: they intentionally rule out the most talented and beautiful ones as 4th-5th runner ups to be able to offer them professional contracts, because the winner has to represent the show for years before she can start her career as a professional (and because of this they very rarely do). Same happens to AGT: if they discover a real star they don't let her win, because that would block her opportunities.

She is a winner in my heart. She is a prodigy. And I remain her avid fan no matter what.

So, I have read every comment posted here about this controversy. My opinions: 1. Angelina's talent and beautiful soul transcend all the petty squabbling and vices of lesser mortals. 2. I give odds of 10:1 that unethical activity, if any, in this matter rests squarely on Simon/AGT/the "entertainment" industry. 3. I will not suffer through a single day of my life without Angelina to restore my soul and humanity. 4. As the wisest man I've ever read (Mark Twain) once remarked so beautifully, "In all matters of opinion my adversaries are insane".

Angelina belongs to the world...no matter what AGT does or doesn't do.

There is ABSOLUTELY no doubt that history will show Angelina Jordan is much more revered than AGT could have ever imagined. This episode will mark the beginning of the end for Simon and his machine and look for someone else to come along and grab the opportunity to run a talent show which will showcase the performers and give them the chance to choose what road is best for them. The very top performers will have no problem getting the top gigs. After all, it is the public at large who basically decides to what degree a performer can realize huge success by supporting them at the box office, etc.,

If you watched Simon every time the camera was on him he was quiet, still, minimal blinking if any, and as mesmerized as most people are the first time they hear her.

That was excellent John. I'm a social psychologist, and it sounds like something that I would write if I was in your position to know the things that you know. Especially the part about needing to find or invent things that support what we already believe. But am I right in thinking that AGT and Simon can't be happy about what she has done. And could there be a little spill over in the judging because of that. Because we know that she didn't make the top five, and I ask myself, how can that be? Anyway, I think you very soundly laid to rest the hysterical hypotheses that are springing up all over the place. And now Angelina has gone into the studio and recorded the same version of this song that she arranged. And it is available on all the premium streaming sites. I have Amazon Music Unlimited, and I have listened to it about five times now. And I will tell you, it is a MASTERPIECE!! It is a studio production of the highest quality. Just Angelina and a beautiful guitar accompaniment. Of course, there's no video; just like any album. But you will be amazed at how good this is. For me, it is the best thing Angelina has done to date. And it makes me very excited about her new album soon to be released. And the icing on the cake is that it is published by Angelina's company; Angelina Jordan, Inc. Meaning that she has remained independent, and intends to be in control of her future. All that lends credence to your explanation centering around the rights to this song's performance. Maybe she and her team have learned a good lesson from what has happened to Taylor Swift and others. No doubt that if Angelina and Simon couldn't come to mutually agreeable terms then someone at the negotiating table wouldn't be happy about it! But that being said, many of these contracts are drafted to be one sided. And since it's the big company behind the show that drafts these, then usually it's not in the favor of the artists. Who are usually struggling for more exposure and are willing to sign over just about anything for that exposure. Many people question why Taylor Shift signed over all her rights initially for her music and it's the same story.

I am self made psychologist :). This song was not arranged by her. No way. She recorded 125 song, 3 classes lower level as this one. As an expert :) I have to say that somebody did it to her, since she can't do it. After they couldn't come in terms, so he did not help with the second performance and it became average as usual. I mean average overall performance with crazy vocals.

@@szolanek I really have no idea what you just said. But the song was arranged by Angelina. All the lyrics are part of the original. She didn't create any new lyrics, just culled from the original those that fit the story she wanted to tell. Then she slowed the tempo, added an acapella opening, and added some riffs that aren't in the original. And what she ended up with is a completely different version of this iconic rock song, which Queen applauded. I'm not sure why you don't believe that she could've done this. She's been rearranging songs for several years; "California Dreamin'", "Wicked Games", etc., etc. Does that mean you think Simon helped her with the arrangement. She has more music knowledge in her little finger than he has in his entire body. Simon knows a lot about the music business, but not about music. If you think that than you are definitely a self made idiot. Incidentally, there are no "self made psychologist"; just people with opinions that are often ill-informed.

If you read my post above it would seem that she has already moved on. Placing her version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" (yesterday) on all the premium streaming cites, and doing it with her own company: Angelina Jordan Inc. That tells me that she has not and will not sign away the rights to her music, and that she is also getting good legal advice. And from that I would deduce that she has produced her next album (supposedly all originals) within her company. And that makes me want to stand up and cheer (OLE'). Best wishes, Pat. Billy J

Thanks for doing this in-depth analysis of the situation. As much as you may have seen about it in the comment sections on youtube, there are literally pages more of discussions on this in her fan groups on facebook. Everyone has different theories and the amount of incorrect information flying around is almost comical. One thing that is sure about all of this... Angelina is going to become a legend... and I am going to be watching every step of her journey to get there.

@@brendaveselich3086 Well, Brenda, the competition ended in October. So we already know the outcome and she doesn't win, place, or show. But since it is taped and already finished, I can't see how they could erase her performance in the finals.

Yes, I would never have known about her except for AGT. Now I am an avid fan, and cannot stop listening and watching her videos. She has the most distinguished and mesmerizing voice I ever heard. I have listened to her for hours at a time. As for AGT, I’m glad she didn’t win bec as use they would control her for years. I have seen it before, they do weed out the best talent. The audience response from all her performances shows how much they enjoyed her performances. And she did get the golden buzzer. And not much later, got her own contract not connected to AGT. Now, in 2022, she is on concert tours and going great. Best wishes to our Queen Angelina, always an Angel in all get fan’s eyes.

Thanks for your illuminating take one this. For some reason, I thought that the finals were going to be aired live and voted live by the American audience. Apparently, that's not the case. It's all pre-recorded. Everything is already decided and we just have to sit and wait for whatever the "superfans" have already decided. I'm not as excited about the outcome as I used to be, though. Superfans? I would have loved to see the American public reaction to the final. While a group of fans of the show is probably more representative than the four judges, I don't really have too high hopes for Angelina winning this show anymore. I've seen hints in comments that she doesn't even make top 5, don't know if that's a guess or if they actually know the results. Either way, I'm not really a fan of this format. At least for the finals, it should be live voting. Just my 2 cents.

What ever, but there’s something very wrong when Angelina the best singer in the world right now ,does not win a talent contest. Not winning will not hurt her, and all of us fan’s know she’s already the best. Someday they’re going to regret how everything came out.

Interesting presentation...I agree that this tempest in a teapot has to do with rights. But I think AGT should be more forthcoming about what took place. Perhaps after the conclusion we might find out, but I doubt it. The situation is complicated by the fact that this is an international competition with American judges. As if the NFL/AFL playoffs were held in and judged by Japan. So I think the merits of the competition are suspect. I for one am not impressed with the lack of transparency in this matter, and it diminishes my interest in the future of AGT. HOWEVER, it in no way diminishes my admiration for Angelina and her performance. I think she will greatly benefit from her performance...Bravo Angelina!

Philip, none of the AGT judges are American: Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon are British, Heidi Klum is German, and Howie Mandel is Canadian. This is pretty much Simon and his producers show, entirely, and they run it to suit themselves. Can't hate them for it, it's Show Business and always will be.

Yeah, I talked about this before but calling this "America's Got Talent' no longer fits the direction of the show. In the last year or so, more and more international acts have been showcased, as the show is cross promoting talent from different countries. And it's not the just the American version of Got Talent. Australia's Got Talent is featuring people who performed on America's Got Talent before, etc. etc. And even more peculiar as Jeff brings up is that so often the judges on AGT are not American. Yet, so much of the voting is based on what Americans are voting for. This will continue to stir up concern I'm sure until they rename the show, change the format or are at least are more transparent about how things work.

No ones know the judges, they are named superfans. The actual judges in AGT Champions, none of them is American. Simon and Alexia, they are British, Heidi Klum, German, and Howie are Canadian.

I'm a die hard fan of Angelina and millions through the world. i enjoyed your professional reaction on a artist performance and explanatory break down on the drama Rights, contract etc. this god's gifted child star is our ENTERTAINER of tomorrow. you've seen the best of the best, now you are looking at the most very best of the best and from all the rest and the rest is going to be HISTORY. Thank you for your cautionary comments. Rights, yes, but in the end, it boils down to money. A side note, Angelina's official site was certified 12/10 and includes the outfit she wore for AGT - free advertising and I'll bet many of those have been sold. Her family owns that and she will, deservedly, earn much more during her career. And she will always be more loved than Simon. If this ends up killing AGT, I won't lose any sleep over it.

Guys Angelina is only 13. She was advised this would happen before she agreed to appear on the show. They would of been better off making her a special guest.

The fact is that ahe transformed that master piece in a super master piece.. She made that song her own in the way she sang it..

Whether this is a rights issue or not, there’s two facts remaining: 1. AGT did NOT post the golden buzzer performance of Angelina Jordan, where otherwise they do. 2. At almost ten million views, the Talent Recap video got blocked. It could have been blocked earlier.. but no, it got blocked after a week online and lots of views from fans all around the world. Of course, people are going to talk about that, because it simply raises a lot of questions!! This could have been prevented, if both AGT Champions AND Talent Recap had been more TRANSPARENT about what is going on. That is the way to go to prevent (negative) rumours being spread. Now that they have NOT done this, there’s one very simple conclusion that can be drawn from this: both parties do not really care about what is in the best interest of the millions of viewers and the artists.

If there is a contract issue, it should obviously have been solved out before start, and/ or Angelina should not have been invited at all. According to Goldderby, more than 90 percent of their readers vote for Angelina, and according to Google search, Angelina got most attention, so if she is not among the top two finalists, it is obviously not a fair play, and just very embarrassing for AGT.

I do want to be clear, very possible that Angelina and AGT didn't come to terms with the initial default contract from AGT which is very one sided. Meaning most artist sign away a crazy amount of rights when they agree to perform on AGT. It would be in Angelina's best interest to fight for her rights given her current career trajectory. And if that meant losing out on some exposure online from the AGT KZread channel in the short run then it could be worth it in the long run.

I worked with contracts in the entertainment industry for some pretty big IPs and celebs for way too many years, so not to be cynical here, but these companies can be ruthless when it comes to these sort of things. So yes, I do believe they will do unethical things if they think they can get away with out. Especially if they think you have no negotiation power. You really should read one of the AGT contracts that has been posted online from years ago. It's pretty one sided stripping all sorts of rights away from performers, from your ability to be on other shows, ownership of the song, how you are presented to the public. They can even record you in the bathroom, smear your name for storytelling purposes, and even sue you for $5 million if you breach the confidentiality agreement. It sure does help to at least understand this specific situation without all the misinformation. Sounds like some people found my video at least does up. People may still believe that Angelina's video was never posted because Simon is was punishing her. But at least we know that Angelina was able to retain some rights. Which admittedly does cloud who prevented the vid from being posted and the reason for it as well.

Her mom has always been very protective of Angelinas childhood. She only allows for Angelina to take part in a certain amount of performances each year. She has stated in an interview that they turn down 80% of all requests. Remember, Angelina is only 14 and fame is far from everything. :)

I'm pretty sure I read that she signed with Republic Records when she was 14. The contract contained stipulations that she would be allowed to finish her schooling and have a "normal" childhood until she graduated. What does that mean? I'm not sure! It appears she has been working steadily with a team at RR. This is why she and members of her family moved to California. I'm so happy that she has this support network as a firm foundation for her life during this time period. #LET'S MAKE ANGELINA A SUPER STAR ❤🙏❤

I disagree with the assertion that it is better to reduce the flame on discussion of this topic. It's important. Imagine it's the late 1950's and the world doesn't really yet know the name Patsy Cline. Imagine she is shut down and never makes it to the TV appearance in 1962 where she sings "Crazy" and her career never happens. 60 years later Angelina doesn't do a cover because the song never existed. Patsy never gets a museum, and history is altered. That is what is happening here. Angelina is being denied hundreds of millions of views, not just from the AGT clip that never happened, but from future compilation videos, recap videos, greatest golden buzzer moment videos, etc. This is what she wanted. She wanted the exposure. She shed a tear and said this is the biggest moment of my life, and I want to win. It didn't happen. Don't tell me she's not disappointed, and don't tell me that someone isn't at fault and that we shouldn't know who it is. Will she bounce back from this? Of course. Has damage been done? Of course. What I want most for Angelina is for her to retain her youthful exuberance for singing, and to not be thrust into adulthood any sooner than is appropriate. But from a crapfest like this season of AGT, when she is clearly the winner, or at least top 3, this is a slap in the face.

It has been on the internet already and what's on the internet never dies! Whether it exists on the AGT channel or not that performance will propagate. Other than that I agree with your sentiment.

A reasonable, well thought-out, and informative video. You're obviously in on the conspiracy. But seriously, regardless of what the reasons are for why the video of her performance was removed from some sites, I don't t think it will negatively affect her success in the future. She is an incredibly talented singer with a special ability to connect with her audience on a deep emotional level when she performs. I believe she will become a world-wide superstar, and I can't think of another young artist whose future work I have looked forward to with as much anticipation or delight.

Does not everyone realize that Simon controls all this? He controls especially Britain and America has talent in the most minute details. He determines which acts get on stage, he controls who the judges are even. And anyone who attempts to participate has this little tidbit in their contestant contracts "If the producers feel that there was some issue with the voting they can decide the result and their decision cannot be challenged." This means Simon controls who wins and since Angelina is signed with another label her chances of winning are nil. This is why I refuse to participate and watch a ruse.

Just want to say thanks for a very nice, thoughtful and well done video in regards to this matter. I have to admit I had fallen into the spiteful Simon camp on it, but there really are no hard truths out there that would definitively prove anything one way or another. I'm not about to go so far as to say you've changed my mind, but at the least you've convinced me to take a step back. Hashing these things out in comment sections and on forums are a fool's game at best, and the truth will eventually come to the fore. Or it won't. This tempest in a teapot won't make a bit of difference in the long run.

I am a Filipino and I like Angelito Pomoy. Obviously. As a 67 year old, I grew up loving all sorts of music from Beatles to Black Eyed Peas but music is a universal thing. There should be no issue whether you are a Filipino or a Norwegian or a Korean or a Jew or a Gentile. I started loving Angelina since her NGT days, before I knew about Angelito who I later on liked after I listened to his Prayer. My bet is Angelina and second place goes to Marcelito.

Watch how simon reacts during her performance. It's obvious he knows she won't sign to his label. Normally if he sees a bankable singer he gets all giddy and smiles because he sees all the dollar signs running through his head.

Great information about the myths and possible realities of what happened with Angelina's video. At first it really was puzzling to us, her fans, that AGT didn't post it. Now that the song is out there in several digital sites, (as you pointed out) with the registered mark 2020 Angelina Jordan Inc. it became clearer that this might be an issue of rights. You're also right when you say Angelina's family and management are very protective of her. So, if they decided this was the best way to deal with the matter, I'm confident it was the right decision. Anyway, IMO, she got was she wanted when entering the competition: to get worldwide exposure and oh my, did she get it! She's a star already and doesn't need AGT other than for that purpose.

This Angel won't sign a contract with the devil.

Your well thought out comments have some Merit. But, you have to look at the fact that in the history of these talent shows all over the world, not one golden buzzer has ever been snubbed. Every golden buzzer has been posted on AGT video except Angelina. This points to a more personal reason for this situation.

Simon stated on stage after her golden buzzer that he didn't think Angelina knew just how good she is. I beg to differ. I think she knows and her team knows exactly just how good she is. Thank you so much for presenting this and calming people down. I've been in and around the music business for 50 years. Nowadays it's a cut throat dog eat dog world. But, that's not what is going on here. AGT owns the rights to all presented entertainment from their show. Period. That includes audio and video recordings. They are probably careful with how that material is presented by non professional groups and organizations as well as well paid for presenters. They've got a lot of money invested in their business. I've seen a lot of shoddy stuff presented as "authority". That doesn't help a performer. Their careers to be presented in a poor light. Including crappy video, crappy audio, poorly spliced images and sound. All that is present on KZread as you are fully aware. It's in the best interest of all those involved with present and future carriers to have only the owners and approved users send up performances.

Let me tell you something master Lee: ANGELINA JORDAN IS THE ONE OF THE BEST SINGERS IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC.. IS EXEPTIONAL ... UNIQUE AND SHE MAKE ANY SONG SHE SING BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL.. Hi, As much as i enjoy your reactions and agree with you most of the times, I have to disagree with you on some of your comments. I think this was intentional by AGT To put down Angelina and not post her video on their site. The abuse of the artists by the music industry is very well documented by many journalists and TV documentaries and goes back to the "50. The artist Prince once referred to artist music contracts as "slavery". It is no different today. AGT became aware of Angelina"s upcoming album while the show was being taped and decided to play her down and shut her as much as possible after the show was aired. It is all about the money. She and her family want to keep her artistic integrity and independence and not to be committed to a "slave" contract. Angelina as you are aware turned down many lucrative contracts before as well as an invitation to last season AGT The Champions. So why now? The answer is: Angelina wanted the exposure in North America where her genre of music {jazz} is most popular before releasing her album. AGT were not thrilled by being outsmarted and taken advantage of by a 13 years old Norwegian girl. Way to go Angelina. More power to you. Stay independent and true to yourself and values. Your fans love you and will always support you. I also want to give a big salute to Angelina"s grandmother. I do not think she is getting the credit that she deserves for her guidance, inspiration, and support for her granddaughter.

@@borispalenovski6302 I have 2 relatives who are musicians and a cousin who managed few bands and I can write a book about the ways the music industry exploits artists for their own benefit all the way from from deducting expenses from the Artists percentages like breakage fees, placement fees,shipping fees to even blacklisting them when they try to expose the abuses.

In my opinion the timing in which the video was removed relates to the fact that I don’t think AGT ,in their wildest expectations, thought that Angelina’s performance would be so well received. For that matter they had to remove it, because it would negatively affect the narrative that they,AGT were striving to present, as you may or may not know the outcome is decided and it would not look good on AGT if someone were to receive such publicity,such as the amount of views she was garnering , and not be placed better than what they had already decided. The public is surely mislead in thinking that their opinions and votes outweigh, what the powers that produce AGT decide is best for their overall ratings. Just look at the all the sad woe is me interviews that they promote in order to evoke emotions from the viewers,for someone before they perform. Please excuse my grammatical errors

Like your presentation of the facts. What i think is going on is that AGT is doing a type of "Damage Control" since the show was recorded late last year and the winner is therefore already determined, due to an article I read back in November leaked that AJ got the buzzer but that she doesn't go much further after, indicating that she will NOT win. so to limit backlash I'm assuming AGT is trying to limit the hype for AJ. Just my thoughts.

I'm not sure I agree with that although it came to mind. The reason I don't agree is that other acts such as marcelito pomoy are continuously being hyped and he doesn't come in near the top either in terms of rankings. Makes no sense.

Name one person that has already accomplished at 9 years old what has already. Youngest ever Author in an entire Country. I don't know for sure, but probably the youngest winner of any got talent shows. Over a Billion views on Facebook, and a half Billion on KZread. Let Alone the views on TikTok, Instagram, and the rest. How many children do you know at age 6 make a comment and 9 years later still sticking to it. She does an interview when she's about 8 and in it she's reading from her diary (written when she was 6) in it's about what happened the day she gave her shoes away "at that moment my heart opened up and I saw a ladder leading up to heaven" how many 6 year olds do you know have a heart that big.

Yes it did get put online by AGT. I watched the original on youtube. I also watched dozens of other channels who added it to their channels but it was on AGT.

No, never put online on AGT on YT. Yes, you can find Angelina's performance on many fan's site right now on youtube. Seulement des sites de fans. yes , since she went straight thru to the finals she will sing once more some time in February.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention that Angelina’ people have created Angelina Jordan Inc. From what I understand she owns all of her recorded music. Simon probably had little or nothing to do with the decision. More likely, it was Fremantle that controlled everything. Also her parents have said they will sign no recording contract until Angelina has completed school.

John, I like your response on all of this mess. My take on this is possibly Sappy Simon is pissed that Angelina's people won't sign her soul over to the moguls she is already successful without them.

Keep in mind that on Champions, many of the performers are already professionals with contracts, so it would not be unusual for an act to not be signing a contract in this case. Plus it would look really bad if it came out that Simon sabotaged a contestant simply because they refused to sign.

Thank you John for putting the conspiracy theories on the back burner. I agree that it was simply a "rights" issue (and why the heck did Taylor Swift sell the rights to her early songs! That was a dumb move unless she really, really needed the money). Her family is protective and does what is best for Angelina. Also why would she need the AGT website as this performance blew up the internet as soon as she had finished her song that night.

Look into the background somewhere you will see Little Steve, and Suleman Malik. They both sat down with Mom and Grandmom 6 years ago and warned Mom about the cruel World of Music. Remember his best friend Bruce Springsteen along with John Fogerty were instrumental in the reform laws of music. They both have a personal interest in Angelina

This show was pre-recorded back in October and word is the super fans voted her to the top five.

lol AGT just got their ass handed to them the more they try to downplay it the more people will gravitate to her and the song that she did on AGT she was never going to sign with anyone she knows how good she is since she was the age of 6 she does all her own arrangement of her music as well as how she wants the music to be played for her by whoever is playing it for her she is that good and can make a new arrangement of any song on the fly within minutes if she had to go on stage right away and can sing from an i-phone if need be too now that is talent the Angelina machine is going stronger then ever she knows exactly what she is doing and Simon and AGT just make it better for her they played right into her hand lol ANGELINA YOU GO GIRL LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR FUTURE

Thanks for working on keeping it civil, my personal opinion is that is a legal issue between her current contract(s) and what AGT demands of her in their contract. When you interviewed her last fall at AGT I thought I heard her mother say that they were having a album coming out soon. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Fremantle media owns the rights to these performances and this is not the 1st time that they have either stopped or deleted you tube performances. Angelina has stated she idolises Simon, so if any contract was given to her she would of signed, that is why she is there. I suspected that Simon though the show wondered if she can sell records because her Genre is not so popular, what tends to happen with these shows is that it is difficult for winners of this show to transcend it and unless Angelina can sell records her contract would be short lived. Very few or none of any of these winners of AGT or xfactor are still with syco records sony music.

John, you made this clear as mud. I think you said that Angelina and her family agreed beforehand with Simon that AGT wouldn't post her performance on KZread. The Angelina team did this because they wanted to retain ownership rights to the performance for its post-show exposure and AGT only posts KZread performances if Simon's company owns the the rights. Is that what you said? I think you said the deal was that Angelina would do the show, get U.S. national television exposure, keep the performance rights and as a price for those rights, give up the normal AGT posting KZread. Is that right? Then did you say that it was Angelina's team who took down Talent Recap's posting of her performance when it became such a viral hit in order to protect her rights to the performance? Is that what you said? If this is true, then I will apologize for stating that Simon kneecapped a kid twice, once by not posting her performance on KZread and then twice by taking down the Talent Recap video.

Um, you sure I said all that 😅 ? Me thinks you are drawing conclusions from the info I presented. 1. An agreement was reached beforehand. Nothing has been revealed about the specifics of a KZread post. 2. All artists who do the show want exposure. 3. Angelina was able to retain some rights regarding the performance, which is why she was able to release the song on iTunes. 4. Unclear who took down the Talent Recap performance, as it's unclear who has the rights. Freemantle likely has the broadcast rights. Angelina likely has the song rights. Either of these rights can give them permission to block a video, according to KZread's policies. I'm avoiding giving my specific conclusion on this because I think it's better to wait til the show is over so people can enjoy it without spoiling anything. But it's worth sharing insight on how these sort of contracts typically work with these sort of shows.

He makes valid points. For years, the Beatles' complete catalogue of songs was owned by Michael Jackson, which he bought for 47 million in 1985. It wasn't until 2017 that McCartney was able to partially reclaim rights to the catalogue of Beatles' material from SONY/ATV. The Beatles catalogue alone has been estimated to be north of one billion dollars.

The question here is why it's not on AGT. Yes, her Golden Buzzer performance is on KZread on fan's site, you can watch it also on many sites of "reactions" of fans, these sites having 3-4 thousands of followers at best for the top ones. I think this is simply a statement of sovereignty, autonomy, hers! Cowell agreeing to remove a rendition in AGT, and THAT rendition at that, because Angelina's clan would want to? So far all I've seen in her career is consistent with a statement she made when she was, I think, 7: I want to sing to everybody in the world, even Cowell, mind you. I do not believe she needs AGT. She's not another contestant, she'd had a 7-year career BEFORE her famous toes touched the AGT stage, with fans and songs (some her own) and her international presentations; she's been on TV, both live and series, bla bla, bla. She's an accomplished singer and artist. What she did on that stage was winning; she won the hearts of those there and those who saw the video. That might just be all she wanted. And she got it.
