Pretty much my thoughts.

Rynn's Night's machine spirit has to be more cunning than most of the Marines that ever rode in it.

Great little Story. I can't remember ever reading where a vehicle with a real machine spirit got pissed off while it was chillin in the garage and started kicking ass on its own. Thats awesome. Especially the part of it broadcasting angry computer noises at the orks.

If I remember right, there was an imperial knight pilot that was captured by chaos and thrown in prison. Then his Knight turned on and proceeded to rampage through the base until it found its driver. I like to imagine that, as it blew the door of its hinges, the knight blared "PROTOCOL 3: PROTECT THE PILOT."

@@lacarthcinclair5401 I don't think it would act like a robot at all. It's because the nueral link for knights and titans actually incorporate parts of all its pilots...to varying degrees. Pilot's will experience deju vu and some involuntary actions/reactions due to the machine spirits memory. Some pilots minds fry during initial link or high stress fighting because maybe the previous pilot died horribly even though the machine was saved and repaired.

Loving the upload schedule. Quite grueling I’d imagine. Congrats on 40k prince. Glad I’m gonna be around for the next milestones.

Rynn's Might AI is so badass that it can pilot a Imperator Titan alone without a princeps :P

This story, told in the book "Rynn's World," was one of the first 40k stories I read, and it made me fall in love with the Crimson fists. To this day they're my favorite space marine chapter. Great job on the editing and narration as always!

Rynns world wasn't my introduction to 40k but it was my first time reading a warhammer novel for myself and i have to say it is one of the best books i have ever read

@@dragansnyder2208 That scene with Cortez and the ork in mechanized armor had me practically biting my nails in the back of my algebra class! It's interesting that Prince left out the bit about the arrogant scout getting the strike team on Badlanding killed.

Last Stand at New Rynn City is still my favorite 40k cover of all time.

Wow! Rynn’s Might was so badass I almost cried! The concept of machine spirits in 40K always intrigued me.

Rynn’s World hadn’t been attacked in centuries. We had our angels, the Crimson Fists, to protect us. The greenskins wouldn’t dare, I thought. ‘I knew nothing of Snagrod then. No one outside the Arx Tyrannus did. I could not imagine the horrors to come.’ - Antonia Mitra, The Shieldbearers "We are the Crimson Fists, the shield-hand of Dorn. The novel emphasizes that the missile that blew up the fortress monastery was designed to be effective against heavily armored space ships, which is why it was able to strike so deep to the ammunition stores, so there's that.

Ryan's World was one of the first Black Library books I read. Good one to pick up. Makes you understand why the Crimson Fists = Best Fists.

Geeze, Rynn's Might was kind of like a miniature BOLO tank. That's some crazy fluff lol

I've been just tearing through all of these audio books the last few weeks and I'm loving it, your videos truly make my life better

Rynns might is Pure Black Airforce Energy. This is defintely in my top 5 short stories in 40k.

Crimson Fists or, chapter with the imperium's giness record of frindly fire.

I think sum ov the short stories are better than the massive novels. I enjoyed that it really got m thinking Respect

I can't believe a non crimson fists player understand why half of us crimson fists collecters hate Robute G. I used to say Im a few marines short from owning entire space marine chapter that I PAINTED MYSELF. Until the Father of Ultra losers boost my chapter back to 1000.... When you spend years on your chapter... Just to have the finishing line pushed back...

The thing that gets me about the orks is that if a whole bunch of orks believing in something makes it true, then wouldn't their belief in their own superiority and invincibility make it so? Like, if every ork in a waaagh believes in the unkillability of their warboss, wouldn't that become reality?

I think they would hate it they love to fight the biggest and toughest. If they became invincible they not find those fight anymore. Orks don't care about winning or losing they just want a good fight

Orks believe in their own personal invincibility but not that of others. Every single ork dreams of one day besting their own boss. They believe that at the moment their boss is the biggest or the fightiest but they also believe one day they themselves can be the biggest and the fightiest.

@@Dakooties that's true, but that's only within ork "society". They still consider orks in general to be the biggest and the fightiest species, so you'd think that when going up against other species they'd be well nigh unstoppable.

@@unclesam1756 Last time I checked my good buddy Ghazgul Thrakka is nigh unstoppable. You do make a good point though. Though after having experienced the mindset of orks through the novel Brutal Kunnin' I find that orks relish the idea of going up against things which should be their better. This is of course no new news, but in my opinion this seeming acknowledgment of their enemy's prowess would seem to negate any Waaagh! given natural superiority. Like I said, in my own not so humble opinion.
