This is truly beautiful. It's unknown to us outsiders why their marriage didn't last, but one thing is FACT: they loved each other unconditionally. Even when they divorced they continued to tour, collaborate and perform together. And it is oh so rare that you find a divorced couple having nothing but loving and kind words to say about each other. I believe they were always meant to be together divorced or not.

Sometimes we are just too young to be married and handle the ups and downs. My first marriage didn't work but we have two wonderful children and my second husband and I have been together for over 45 years and married for nearly 37. We have parented five children successfully and my husband, my ex, his wife and all of the children talk with each other.

This brings tears!!!!! I miss Walter!!!! I grew up on the beginning of their journey. I love the entire Love Alive Family. Irregardless of what happened in his marriage, you can still be civil with each other and PRAISE GOD ANYHOW!!!!

This man was so gifted, not only could he sing,write,direct and he was a great preacher. This clip or video is hard for me to watch. He showed so much RAW emotion. The first time he went down he put his hands on her arm. He loved her still. I tear up each time I watch it. He is greatly missed. His music that God gave to him has up lifted a many hearts and remined us of God's love.

Such a blessed family with awesome gifts of songs. Rip Walter and Edwin. Your songs are still encouraging those left behind. Thank you Tramaine, love you and the Hawkins’ family.

I will forever love this man and his music. From childhood to now, I remain an unrelenting fan. His gift has just inspired me so much. I will always love this family. I am thankful for their inspiring music. I truly miss these awesome men of such heartfelt worship, music. It's so emotional to my soul, and spirit. I sometimes wish that I could have lived close enough to their church so that I could attend often. .

The Hawkins family's music will forever be a part of my life. They were one of the first family of musicians that I started listening to in the seventies. God bless the remaining members. I love them all dearly.❤🤗😍

Regardless of any struggles Walter may have had, no one can deny his love for Tramaine. Even in the early years when he would introduce his family while on tour, he always introduced her as his "beautiful wife, Tramaine".

I'm so thankful that Walter Hawkins used his talent and gifts for the glory of God. His music encourages, and points to Jesus and God, shows us how greatly we are loved. I know we all must leave this world at some point but Bishop Hawkins's passing is still difficult to accept in my heart. My mind knows and acknowledges that truth but the heart. 11APR18

this has pulled my heart strings...tears are flowing...this was soooooooooooo beautiful. Here it is June 29, 2021, I'm watching this and being BLESSED! I believe even our praise is given to us by God. Because we praise God for who He is and what he has done for us. Some people do not know what He has done. They can sing the songs and cry, but do they really realize the cost?

My heart and mind goes back to all of their Great songs with the Love Center Choir. Thank God, I still have all of their Albums (vinyl) to this day. I listen to them all the time, especially when my heart is heavy.They restore my Joy and bring peace to my Soul besides bringing back so many wonderful memories singing their songs in church.

Wow!! I've been raised on the Hawkins,James Cleveland, Sheryl, specially Mahalia Jackson, PRAISE God the lord used my mother. We send to school an FROM school their was a yellow bus waiting to pick us up an off we went to church. With my grandmother an auntie back then we didn't have much. But We sat back an here these PRAISE songs an I tell you it was so so much love then, I rather be rich in the lord Jesus, Thank you YOU lord for the Hawkins

i thank god for this shared love with the world. i knew traimaine was his wife and help him create some of the genuous. to god be the glory. thanks for sharing all of this music you will never be f orgotten. my son did not beat the drug habit but before he left this earth he rededicated his life and apologize for the pain he caused his mother me. i loved my son now he left me with 2 daughters i daughter has 5 children my great grandchilgdren by his oldest daughter and i cover your prayers for the youbgest she knows the lord but she is not always with me in my household i speak those things that be not as though they were she shall gods destiny for her life according to jerimiah :29:11 good and expected end in jesus name

I worked in the gospel industry for a minute some years ago and I was usually able to go up to these singers and introduce myself. However---when I saw Walter, Tramaine and Edwin all walking in the hotel together, I was too stunned to even move. I stared at them so hard and widemouthed that they all smiled and said hello. I can't even remember if I spoke back. Legends that I'd been singing to since I was a CHILD and they are all right in front of me??! omg. Watching this made my heart sad. I missed out on him and Edwin. :(

That truly anointed man used every muscle in his body to SING that song. It looks like Lady Tramaine asked him to go back up and finish the song. which he did. Then he dropped the mic and went and directed the choir. He was ridiculously talented. I will always love Bishop Walter Hawkins. Kudos to the musicians; they are phenomenal. The only thing missing was more of the song. Thank you so much for posting.

At a midnight musical in Berkeley, I was lost, going to hell. I sat there in my brokenness and heard a wonderful message of what was possible because of God's love. Changed, changed, I'm so glad He changed me. That refrain remained in my memory, long after leaving there. Still broken, but with a seed of hope. That seed grew and I became a child of God. I thank God for the ministry of these wonderful people, who impacted my life and the lives of countless others. Glory be to God for all He has done!
