My whole childhood in one song. My parents started our day with gospel; I would sometimes come out of my sleep with the song playing in my dreams and wake to hear it on the radio at the same time. So many testimonies in one song.

This is my late pastor whom I loved so dearly and now am being pastored by his son. Not only was he an anointed singer, even more so, he was a great preacher of the Gospel. Yet the anointing continues to flow in Pastor Walter Jamie Hawkins. The Lord has truly looked with favor upon this family!!!

Tramaine just slays the song and it seems so effortless. When she says “ yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah” ( while Walter is saying “ yes he will”) she’s driving the song with so much energy. it’s such a powerful moment.

@christian Williams Have you listened to Lady Tramaine sing What Shall I Do live? Whitney IS very good. Lady Tramaine is in a class all by herself for two simple reasons. 1) Because her gifting is anointed given and blessed by God. 2) Lady Tramaine only uses this gift for God and HIS glory. My college voice professor said there is a difference between having the ability to hit a few solid high notes here and there in a song and having the ability to solidly sing a high pitched song. Some people CAN leave the floor on which they live to go up and "visit" someone who lives on a higher floor but they can only visit. They cannot live there. Lady Tramaine "lives" in the penthouse and at any given time on EVERY song she explores the private "roof top balcony" a place where very few can enter. The professor was speaking "musically" as Walter Hawkins would say. 😉

I saw Tremaine Hawkins and local vocalist Brother Maurice and KCC praise singers perform this recently. the song is timeless and its meaning and anointing never goes away. Greenville, N C

I get chills. Goosebumps every time I hear it. First because it’s true. Second because I recognize so clearly God’s handiwork in anointing a song like this. It’s able to bring attention to the fact that just because you’re broken doesn’t mean you are finished. Third that it’s so well performed. And last and least in comparison, I get why God gave black folk the ability to sing like we do. The power you feel coming from the performance of this song is an act of God and the proper tool He uses to execute that performance is Black People. I say this with a little embarrassment but nobody, no other group of people, can do this! When the first gospel singers toured the nations of the world the people sat with jaw dropping amazement at the abilities of black people on stage. Others could imitate bet the gift comes through the African. That truth has been suppressed by the wicked one yet still it can’t be contained. My God show us the proper use of our gift.
