Appreciate all your functions in your Vans. Can you guys elaborate mostly on the transmission , engine Durability ? Also, your AWD and FWD Functions, of course. That's what makes a great vans, trucks,and cars.

I like the crew van set up. They really need to work on the tow rating. It needs to tow at least 2,000 more lb’s. Transmission durability is another, for their trucks and vans. My ram 1500 is on it’s second transmission, replaced at 96,OOO miles and the second trans has been shifting funning since 125,000. They have not fixed it and I now have 135,000 miles, because it only does it after a couple hours on the road. So my next truck will probably be a gm passenger van with a 6.0 to tow. The gm is the only one that can tow well. For the folks that might want an overnight camper, on trips and still tow something.

It’s too bad the super high roof isn’t for all models. 😵‍💫

I was just thinking it would be nice if they kept it on the 12footer too. My thoughts when I first seen this super high roof is a loft bed lol. I'm just barely 5'9 so I could technically stand through the length of the van and build the loft structure sideways in the back.

Higher roof? For vanlife that means more insulation in the ceiling & floor and more height in the shower. Additional: Just got a look at new pictures of the super high roof version. The height gain comes with a steeper angle of the front above the windshield. As if the increase in frontal area wasn't bad enough that can't be good for aerodynamics. MPG is going to take a big hit, it might even eat the 9% gain you'd get from the new 9 speed. We'll have to wait and see. The superhigh is also only available on the extended length version which is about a foot too long for the standard parking space so that, with the increased height, is going to limit where you can bed down for the night.

@@razorwired130 Depends on the place. Walmart is famous for allowing vanlifers to park at their stores. As for street parking: In most cities, as long as you don't stay pass the posted time limits nobody bothers you. And even if you do most times all you'll get is a knock on the door & a request to move.

The Super High Roof PM is pretty amazing and it looks like it is finally here now in the US. An NBA player could walk around inside.

Awesome new front end. The old front end looked like a squished Volkswagen Beetle.

The front end is a nice Tradesmen that drive these vans do care what it looks like.

Bro he also said 7ft2 inches in cargo height! I don’t think anyone understands what that means! I’m an independent mover and the main reason why I stayed away from cargo vans was because the roof height! I’m actually thinking of trading in my 2021 Chevy for this! I’m not joking, my only issue is that I believe they’ve discontinued the eco diesel!

How adjustable are the steering wheel and the driver's seat? (Asking for a tall friend who has felt cramped in Promasters before.)

Will they offer left and right sliding doors?

Is the capacity of the rear axle increased, to compensate for the weight of the taller roof? Is a dual rear wheel axle available for greater stability?

Just fix the sliding door handle,, it just does not have enough grip, it feels like it will brake and it is so small.

Every one of the super high roof vans will be sold to Amazon. Good luck to Winnebago, THOR, etc on getting any sizeable number of this very desirable units...

How's the seating height for 6'+ drivers? Some said nice van but complained about their ability to see the road without crouching down.

that's a solid question. Sorry, neither Jill and I are 6' and we didn't check. Andre at TFL is over 6' and did a video. Might want to check that out. I think it is on the TFL Now channel.

Maybe you won’t have to pay commercial insurance with the crew seating. Two seater you absolutely have to. Something to consider for van lifers who are often shocked by the expensive insurance you need

@@alexolga11 congrats man. I'm currently looking to purchasing my first new van. I want a 2022 RAM PROMASTER® 2500 CARGO VAN HIGH ROOF 159" WB but most dealers won't take a order for a new van unless it's for the new year 2023. So I might have to just order a new 23 and wait for it

@@Pickuptrucktalk Good point, however as headlights are now being tested for safety by The Insurance Institute, fleet owners may have higher Insurance prices without LED headlights.

@@icare7151 that's a good point as well. I wonder how much the fleet buyers are concerned with headlights and insurance prices. If they are, they would go for the option and that should push Ram into making them standard.

What about meeting the EMS worlds needs???
