I’m a 41 yr old man & I have just received a 12 KG Kettle Bell today to help with back strengthening exercises. So I’ve been doing some squats while holding my Kettle Bell & another exercise I like to do I stand with my Kettle Bell with both hands on it at waist height & I’m lifting it straight up to my chest & then back down & repeating the process. I’m doing about 20 reps with each exercise it sure gets the heart pumping & my body temperature up but this is just my first day of trying to get back into shape.

these seem to be a lot of upper back. would you do a similar video for lower back. as a tall female my lower back is always susceptible to injury so I like to focus on lower back strength for spine stability

"I obviously conventional deadlift a lot more weight" "Five pounds" LMFAO. Frickin Sal Man I can't do those dumbbell pull overs (or skull crushers really). My right shoulder hurts when it's over (and especially behind) my head like that, holding a weight. For overhead db triceps extensions I have to really flare my elbows out wide otherwise my right shoulder hurts. There's def something up with it; if I do lateral raises on my right side you can feel/hear my shoulder like pop in the front/center of it. It doesn't hurt when it happens but I dunno what's up. I've had it for a long, long time but it's only really come to the fore since I started lifting a year ago and have tried these weighed exercises. Can do front raises, shoulder presses without any issue though, thankfully.
