hahaha that was classic, well done lads. This is in my top 5 greatest films of all time list. I think I watched it about 5 times within the first week of ever seeing it. While obviously brutal it is littered with such wonderful subtleties that are the most delicious little morsels if you are open enough to find them and its obvious you guys are on the same page. Finally showed it to my Catalan wife (who is now an Aussie citizen) and with about 10 mins to go she gets up and walks to the kitchen saying "why did you get me to watch this? It does not resonate with me at all" Do you still really think its a masterpiece?" - I just laughed and cracked another beer.

Great review guys! Just saw the film last night, kangaroo scene is one of the most intense pieces I've ever seen. I thought Donald Pleasence was fantastic, as an Aussie I can't recall a more accurate accent from a foreigner on screen. Ya mad ya bastard

"A body review of wanking fried!" was what my ears heard and it took a second for my brain to engage before translating correctly! Good review and speaking of Nick Cave, have you watched "Ghosts of the Civil Dead"? PS. The director was a vegan at the time he made this (he went veggie in later years).
