I've been holding onto this cover for a while. With the inauguration today, it felt fitting to release it. The events of 2016 inspired me to reflect on our current status. On one of the many tumultuous days following the election, I started humming a darker, more somber melody of John Mayer's "Waiting on the World to Change." It stuck, so I went ahead and created the music to back it, and came up with this cover/music video idea. Here's hoping we can be the change we want to see in the world in years to come.
