    Thank you so much for this vid Sir, ive been waiting a long time for this one. Over here in South Africa, mine is Sitting at 450 000kms and still going. I would like to request a Alh dieselpump seal swap video. If its viable perhaps while its on the car,,,otherwise, lets take it off, replace the seals and set the Iq. Once again , we really appreciate this, it goes a hella long way to keep these bulletproof motors going

    Do most VAG TDIs have the injectors within the valve train? (Under valve cover) I also have an ALH engine, and seems like this job would be a mission if I had anything other than ALH...

    Thank you for the many very helpful videos and instructions, which Nozzles are the ones which will increase HP (possibly mileage?) I didn't see any mention of type or brand, (maybe I missed it) I'm interested because I'm considering the 5th gear increase size mod to max out Mpg, but evidently a little HP increase is usually better. So by doing is this easier and more efficient than the taunted "performance injectors"? (DTP 502 or 520 as examples)

    hi , just a question, when you put the new nozzle on, you didn't oil it before assembly ?

  • @CoolAirVw

    @CoolAirVw

    11 ай бұрын

    If you want oil on yours feel freee. Its lubricated by diesel fuel and it wont every "move" till the diesel fuel moves it. But if you were installing the nozzles then sitting them aside for weeks to months you might worry about them rusting, so maybe a light oil would be good then. Our cleaning solvent is mineral spirits. Very similar to diesel fuel. So they are good.

    @@CoolAirVw... thank you for the soooo rapid answer... i really appreciate !... yes... ahf and alh are the same engine... ahf has 20 hps more than ahl due to bigger injectors and appropriate ecu... turbine and injection pump are the same... in fact.. three years ago I've broken the original alh engine for a worn out timing belt and ive replaced with a stock ahf engine from a golf 4... direct dtop in the engine bay... connect all... turn the key and go. ive saved the alh injectors (just in case..).. so ill swap the noozles in the old alh injectors...and them remove the ahf injectors and dtop the re-noozled alh injectors... since the ahf noozles glow is.. 205 i would go for .216 or .220.... any experience in this regard? greetings franco

    Hey coolair on my mk4 alh tdi I have oil seeping from the valve cover and my oil is a milky grey color. Do you know what can be causing that? I have pictures but I can’t post them in the comments on Yt

  • @CoolAirVw

    @CoolAirVw

    Жыл бұрын

    Milky oil is usually water or coolant in oil. Lots of folks would point to the head gasket, but there is possibility of engine oil cooler allowing coolant into oil also and that would be a much easier cheaper fix. Lots of shops will recommend an engine once water has contaminated the oil, due to rust damage on engine internals.

    @@CoolAirVw it looks like my coolant resivour is at the normal level and my coolant is still bright green like normal. I was it’s thinking something related to my valve cover gasket. Because the dipstick oil is darker like normal but the valve cover is leaked a grey color oil. I was also told to check the nipple on my vacuum pump because if loose it can cause excessive blow bye, idk if that’s accurate but I’ll look at all those things

    Also I noticed that my dipstick oil is still normal. But by my PVC ( puck ), the valve cover, and under my vaccumn pump have that grey oily residue coming from them. It’s like a grey crayola crayon color. Just plain regular grey color oil.
