had a similar problem, replacing the 12V battery resolved the issue.

You have to adapt the battery coding for 12V battery

I am having this exact problem of 12 v battery error. The service station has suggested for the change of power system which would be hell of cost.

You still got that Golf GTE? I've read a couple of times that changing the 12V Battery is fixing the problem.

@@chriskonte1909 yes I am still driving the same car. One day the car suddenly did not start. So I finally went with advice and they found an used electronic power supply hub for me which costed me €2000. After few days, the error 12V battery comes back.The service center then said that there is this big battery fault and luckily the battery was under guaranty for couple of more weeks so got the new battery for free. After few weeks replacing the battery the car again showed the 12v error and car used to go to full sleep just after shutting down the engine and would not start immediately. This time the garage said there is problem with start button system and they changed it for around €250.Since then which is around 4 months now, the car is running absolutely perfect as before. I had asked them to change the 12v battery (influenced by internet forums discussions ) but they refused to, saying the battery was perfect and that they also tried replacing the battery at the service center.

You can long code that 12v error away after u swap battery

I tried to erase the code! I have not succeeded because I have to code the battery and access 61 regul battery but my vcds tells me "no response from the computer"
