I usually watch a video, then read the comments, but for some reason I read through the comment section first. I was prepared for a let-down, cuz everybody raved about the great job Mr. Vrzak did... even Bob Dyer! But once I finished watching the video, I KNEW the rave reviews were true! WOW, you are really talented, Marek! The attention to detail is amazing, even keeping the tread on the weighted tires (:42). I've never seen that before - everybody else just sands or melts the tread off. "Remarkable" is just not strong enough! Not GOOD enough! I know this is two years old, so I don't know if Mr. Vrzak will see this, but man - you have TALENT!!! And I've got some videos to watch, so excuse me while I catch up! Liked and subscribed. My only complaint is the screen shots of the details are too short - I need more time to study them. But I just slowed the replay to .25 and solved that issue! Really well done sir!

Unreal. In a good way :) What materials are you using for scratch building? Or are you just taking photos of a real aircraft?

This looks great. How did you silver spot nearly every rivet? Is each rivet hand painted!? Excellent work.

  • 3 жыл бұрын

Thank you very much.. Yes, that's right, all the silver spots were made by hand on each rivet

Awesome build, words cannot do it justice, just wondering what blue you used for it and which brand of paint. Also is it the same blue that they used for the tri colour paint scheme?

  • 3 жыл бұрын

Hi Paul, thank you for your kind words, I used and mixed various shades of FS15042 Glossy sea blue from GSI (Gunze)...but it is not the same color on that 3-color Corsair

What are the white stripings forward of the canopy?

  • 5 жыл бұрын

    ... It's a sealing anti-dust tape

@ Thanks. I've wondered about that for years. Was it used on other aircraft? I can't think of any where it is so prominent.

  • 5 жыл бұрын

@@MrWahooknows I'm not sure, it was maybe used only on Corsairs...

Absolutely mind roasting ! Speechless. You should build scale models for holllywood. It doesn't even have to be this good a lot of the time.
