Just purchased a pair of the Vanquish 10x26 and so far I love them. Use them for watching wildlife and at the range. Nice video...nice voice!

Seems like a fair review. The color of that Vortex in hand looked like forest green while the box make it look like olive. I'm in the market and will be checking them out. Thanks for posting.

I once went to court for a ticket for an improper life jacket. I was found not guilty because I was getting in the canoe and handed my life jacket but the game warden said I should have put the life jacket in the canoe first. I opened my Velcro wallet in court and every policeman turned and looked at me. They all had Velcro gun holsters..

Great video. I like the cadence of your voice. Would have like to have you describe clarities and edge to edge. Otherwise wonderfully thorough review.

Loopold, not Leeoopold or loypol like the words. It's a family name, I'm certain they are pronouncing their own name correctly, so I'm happy to help 🖤 Edit: I have a question too. Why are you concerned about animals hearing you? That is an 8 power optic, I assume you are using 8 power to observe at pretty decent ranges, considering the magnification. The sound is unlikely to carry that far in most envrionments, so you'd really only be alerting animals close enough to you to hear it. I'd imagine if they are that close you know they are there and can see them so they can definitely see you or your blind. Really I'm just trying to ask what circumstance or reason you have to need your binoculars when they are that close, under what I think of as 'normal' circumstances I wouldn't be worried about a deer or elk hearing my little velcro flap. Surveillance subjects really shouldn't be that close either. If you need binos to see what they are doing you are either far away or in an urban setting with a comparatively ludicrous ambient noise level. In addition you'll also likely in a car or building if you are lucky, stuck on a roof or on a bench trying to pass as a birdwatcher if you aren't. Is this something you are worried about and just haven't actually sat and thought about whether you should be or is there something you are doing where you have to, like watching foxes? I could see wanting eight power for that and still being close enough and it being quiet enough for the velcro to spook them.

Really poor video, 35 minutes for a two item comparison. Very slow talking could cut it in half easily
