"Every team needs to have a Nishinoya" - Coach Donny, 2020 :D
A little detail I don't think you noticed that I found really cool: Nishinoya specifically spent all of his suspension training in block-follows, which is exactly what Asahi needs to build up his confidence in hitting. So, even in his training, Nishinoya was making sure he was prepared to help Asahi.

I really recommend writing down notes about the characters and teams since the show introduces a lot of characters that will not go away. This show isn’t like others where side characters aren’t important. Everyone is important in this show.
Actually, Suga gave him a high toss slightly further from the net because that's the toss that he likes. That he can spike his best with.
I've never actually been so committed to watching a channel. I've never even watched haikyuu or played volleyball
This attitude of complimenting the shot or going 'dont mind' is not a Karasuno thing alone. When I taught at a Japanese high school, I played tennis for my school's teachers tournament and it's the same thing. Got a point 'nice point', returned a serve 'nice return', even if you get something wrong, my doubles partner always tried to keep the spirit going. It's in the culture to be positive even when things aren't working.
