So stopping an attack with a black over the net on a setter is also illegal?

@@auralightrom7022 depends what the setter is doing. If setter is attacking the ball, then you have every rights to block it on the other side. however if the setter is setting the ball to his teammate you can only play the ball on your side of the net. Let's say the ball is 50% on both sides and you block on your side, then it would become an attack fault on the setter.

Yeaaaaah, BUT IF... I block before the setter touch the ball but I don't interfere with the play (I block but I don't touch the ball even if my hands go over the net) is it a fault anyway ?

You have to understand the difference between an effective block and a block attempt. On a small note a libero cannot even attempt to block, however any other back row player can attempt to block and a block fault will happen only when the block becomes effective (if you touch the ball).

My question is if a back row player allowed to step ON the line and jump to attack?

no, take off must be behind the line but a back row player can attack behind the line or jumping over the line
