I do have a passat, can’t explain how to describe. Lot of things to love about.

The Crisp door closing reminded me of the 80s German Detective Series ," Der Alte( The Old Fox)" and "Derrick". The car doors in those series had the same tone.

Passat makes sense around 28-30 Lac, 40 Lac is just too much for a car that feels outdated. Imagine if this was $60000 in USA

Your point actually makes little to no sense. The PPP of the two countries are different, you can compare the pure numbers of prices but you fail to counter in the other factors involved. (For example, a Mustang is USA costs 1/3rd of the Average income of USA, still you don't see every American driving a Mustang.)

Hey hie this is mainly due to the apollo tyres they offer. Switch to Yokohama and the thuds are almost gone. I am using the same gen passat.

Passat is considered as an economy midsize sedan in United States and its also 50% cheaper than what it costs in India

USA spec is 20 years old on the inside lol. Its an outdated engine and correct me if i'm wrong it gets and 8 speed Japanese transmission which is shit. This is MQB platform, latest VW engine and German DSG. You get what you pay for.

The 2020 VW Passat in US has DSG gearbox which is used in majority of VW and Audi products here and it costs $30,000 and has many more features as standard which is not even available in India such as automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring system, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams and heated as well as ventilated seats. It has a 2.0 turbo charged petrol engine.

Sir can you tell me which is better Volkswagen Passat 2020 vs skoda superb 2020 which is better in terms of comfort in front and back seat please reply

hey this is just a last generation vw cc, i own the proper german made cc and it is awesome this model is acrually a decade old design plus some new features vw always brings old stuff to india rhe latest vw is vw arteon rhat is in sale in europe and US

Only passionate owner will buy one of these while rest of them spend their money on badges and reputation

It's the most understated car in India. We Indians want Benz,BMW,Audi logos to flaunt and won't settle for VW logo even if Passat have 5 more features than A4. About its understated looks, that's actually its beauty. I own Passat and in love with it.

VW reduce your maintenance cost it's 15k for small cars and car like Passat and tiguan it's around 55k

I have the passat since last 18 months ..actually my long drives have increased because of wanting to drive this car ...and the broom sound ..its a fantastic car with a tank like solidity..feel somewhat cheated by Volkswagen as I paid more for the car as it got a 4 lakh price cut recently

Passat doesn't have cooled seats like superb or camry rather it has heated seats which is not as much use in India.

Volkswagen should have brought in the Arteon, the better looking cousin of this car.
