I took my 12-year old dog for her last trip today, she had widely spread lung cancer. A few minutes after she was euthanised this song suddenly began playing loud and clear in my head, I somehow felt that it was my beloved Piki telling me she was still walking right there, a few steps ahead of me. Scorpions are the same, they sound the same live as they do studio.

This is a rare diamond in that the live version is as good as the studio version. Not many vocalists sound THAT good live! Holy crap man, this song is epic!!! Thanks Volbeat, for crafting an amazing rocker of a tune - with a banjo solo no less!

I've been playing guitar for 37 years. I can't believe my ears. This band is legendary. I grew up on Metallica and all the fans of the 80s and 70s. We had Chuck Berry, then Elvis then led Zeppelin than metallica. Now we have Volbeat. God bless you guys for real. I would have samurai my pinky finger to be at this concert and I'm not even joking

I stumbled upon Volbeat a couple of years back and was like, oh my god, absolutely phenomenal band with with an epic lead singer. They are huge in Europe especially with guests like Johan. Maybe America will one day wake up and realize how incredibly awesome and tight they are.

Greetings from the US. Just showed my good friend this song and Temple of Ekur, Still Counting. I thought the lyrics were originally “Fighting, Must keep fighting, stand beside me, stand me by, another moment, For Evigt(forever), just let me decide, must keep fighting, must keep me standing by” which is funny for not knowing it was danish. I have now translated it and can’t stop laughing at myself still, yet impressed with how similar it sounds in the chorus

I mean, we're all here for Volbeat, but I give a big shout out to Johan Olsen! What a voince that man has! I love it! You guys should work much more together and make more English/Danish mix songs. It works perfectly with your sound. Just take Garden's Tale, as another excellent bilingual song! Keep rocking, Volbeat and Johan! This evening was magical.. all the gueststars and musicians.. soar throath a couple of days after.. a bit half deaf 🤣 music must be enjoyed without earplugs.. If you want value for money.. This song makes me think of my grand-daughter that passed on December 23, 2018. I was never sure what the lyrics said at first but the emotion behind it feels as powerful as the feeling of loss that I have been living with. I love this song and it reminds me every day to get up and just breath.
