I always watch her mouth and jaw positions when she sings. I noticed she has found that one , reliable position she uses throughout most of her phrases. She's a good example of how vowel modifications can be done in a simple way without constant shifts.

I was most impressed with her whistle notes towards the middle and end. She sounded so good there, and she's inspiring me to watch these reactions and other lessons so that I can become a better singer.

She wasn't in a studio, she was in a bus performing live. That's why you see the audience watching from outside the bus. Nice to hear from an expert though. Tnx

Thanks for reacting. Wish 107.5 is a radio station in a bus. Guests perform live on air and the bus goes around the metropolis and adjoining cities. Wish 107.5 bus now also has a Hollywood version using the same concept of a radio station in a bus and roams all over Hollywood.

it's a live studio on a BUS, a bit like a radio show. Often people stand outside the bus and listen to the live performances performed by the singer. how about never enough by morissette? it's a technically difficult song to sing.

This is my first time seeing a reaction from you and i have to say this is one of the best evaluations I've seen/heard. To be honest, at first I thought you were a little subdued and was hoping to see a little bit more visual queues on how you felt during her performance. But to be fair, when you began commenting I came to understand that you were intently focused on her in order to give your in-depth analysis afterwards. I loved that you were able to give her praise on her technical skills and pointed out good technique that i wouldn't have known had you not mentioned it (perfect tongue placement). Then you gave critical feedback in a way that doesn't belittle or condescend but encourages to or give a call to action on how she could have made it more impactfu. For a first time reacting to her, the fact that you fortold and recognized the price she might have to pay down the road for singing with that kind of impact was very impressive. In fact at some point, the demanding intl travel/work schedule did take a toll and after losing her voice that same year, she was put on forced rest until she was able to perform again. Now she is very mindful on how she can conserve her voice during her performances. It's no longer a surprise in the Philippines. Morissette is incredibly a pride to all Filipinos.

She is in a bus converted into a live Radio Studio Wish 107.5 going around the metropolis. So if you are a guest in this Bus and you flunk, you will be heard in the entire Metro Manila plus the people outside the bus watching you perform. So it's a tough act to do... I dunno where she's getting the courage to even whistle in live performances not only in this video but a lot of her performances and 90% of her uploaded videos in KZread were performed LIVE.
