No doubt she has an amazing voice but I find listening to her sing stressful because she tends to overdo the whistling and "birit" or belting, it distracts from the beauty of the song.

Cheer from Indonesia ...! Morissette Amon performance is outstanding because of 2 factors..... FIRST: Her vocal technic and vocal ability is superb with complete all register she has. ...SECOND : Her emotion and her impression of song lyric plus her gesture during singing , put her become most eye catcher singer ..! In fact there are so many good vocal singer beside Morissette, but they dont have passion like what Morissette does ( 2nd factor ) ..Thats why Morissette is the most fascinating singer so far !!!

The way she sang, you can feel her heart overflows with kindness, emotions and compassion. She is the serenity amidst the chaos of what's going on with the world right now. With her heavenly vocal control, techniques, runs, riffs, range, resonance, register, timbre, squeaks, breaks, cracks, cry, fry, growl, grunt, vibrato, crescendo, decrescendo, melisma, tone, pitch, belt, key change, chest voice, head voice, mixed voice and who doesn't remember her divine whistle notes (let's not forget about that) that are all so majestic she can easily sedates everyone's life turbulence and turned it into hope and love and music. She is all, and she is more that's why since before we loved her... beyond measure.. beyond reason.. beyond time.. and we'll still loving her... and we'll always and forever will be.😍

I like that John takes the time to critically analyze and explain why and how Morissette makes the song so beautiful. Yes, he's going WOW!! but by explaining is what makes the song so special. Oh!..Morie, why do you have to look so damn attractive... She's so pretty and get prettier when she sang but prettiest when she squeaks or whistle or when she smiles just like the covid it's so contagious. She is breathtakingly beautiful. Simply in my eyes, the undisputed number one female singer/vocalist on the planet. Truly no other voice can come close, for affecting one's emotions. Every single reactors reacts to her videos, they rightly praises this amazing lady on her insanely vocal range, techniques and control. But mystical magical Morissette truly has a gift... she always delivers emotional and soulful vocals like this... only God could have given her... her ability to pierce people's hearts and send chills to one's soul... With her voice is simply a human tuning fork. Truly amazing indeed.😍

In my opinion, I disagree. Angelina Jordan is a gifted and rising superstar whose soulful voice evokes emotions with every song she sings at the tender age of 14 years. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 7 years old and was a finalist in America's Got Talent Champions. Lara Fabian from Canada is a world class talent who lives the emotion of her songs and a great story teller. And So Hyang from South Korea has brought reactors and vocal coaches to tears with her emotions and flawless technique. Having said that, Mori is one of my favorite singers.

You’re a very interesting voice teacher reactor; it really shows you care about the talent you’re reacting to because you use a high quality audio that shows the real talent (voice) of your subject. There are vocal reactors out there that they care more about their voice/mic audio quality than their subject. I also appreciate and respect your selflessness in giving real feedback to your talent. Your a real deal! You’re a true music/vocal teacher. Continue doing that and we’ll take care of your subscribers. You’re going to hit the roof before you know it👍

Morissette sings many different styles of songs but with each one she wraps them with her heart and offers them as gifts to us. Her tone is smooth and her technique is flawless. The intentional vocal cracks and her extended whistle tones are no doubt her signature. She can access to your emotions as quickly and as thoroughly as she does. Your heart opens and responds to whatever she sings. You'll get attach as quickly or as deeply to her just like what she's trying to convey from her songs. Out of all the singers from today, Morissette is "The Trendsetter", who sets the bar high in terms of vocal ability and prowess! Just separate her from other singers... plane and simple... Her voice is so full and rich and textured, is she human!? I don't think so LoL. She's out of this world. Such an incredible talent, one of a kind!!😍

Now that you discovered Morissette, you should definitely react to TNT Boys, 3 little boys from the Philippines (same as Morissette) that sing in this bus too, and they are just AMAZING especially for their ages. « Together we fly » would be a good start, + they sing a second version (they wear red shirts in this one) of this song later in an other bus and in this version they all have been hit by puberty even if 6 months separate this new version from the first one. And this would be really nice to analyse. Also, when you analyze it you can see how they take care of each others while singing with simple glances, how they rely on each others strenghts, same with some of them are struggling with puberty.. just awesome please react to them !

The English, Australian and New Zealand accents do not roll the "R" on words like "father", "car" and "never"......the R is enunciated as an "argh" (with some very small subtle variations from person to person such as "ehrgh") so yes the North American (with the exception of places such as New York and Boston) enunciation of "never" is enunciated with an "r" consonant which is a closed and "dead" sound counter productive in pop music (with the exception of country) compared to the more English "nevah" which is much more open and vibrantly lively. It also sounds "classier"......more posh like American actors from the Golden Age of Hollywood such as Katherine Hepburn.

John you are one of the best vocal reactors, you explain it well, which gave as an understanding why a singer is said to be perpect.

What impresses me on Morissette is that she sings a difficult song like Never Enough being sitting! The second thing that impresses me the most is that she sings without demonstrating any effort to do so. It looks like she's calm in a park, just singing. Both in the higher notes and in the lower notes, Morissette sings with the same quality and excellence. She has a stupendous control of her voice. Very few singers have so many vocal qualities as Morissette has. She really is anything out of this world.
