In the Philippines, it is taboo not to sing live. It is a trend or common practice for Filipino singers to sing live and Morissette is no exception. She is considered by many, foreign or local as one of the best if not the best vocalist of this generation.

I hope you will do more reactions of her. I have found that her live recordings, especially on the Wish Bus, are the best. They are all live with her sitting down. She is absolutely amazing and the best singer of this generation. She was 22 years old here and still sings with a mature voice. You should check out "Akin Ka Na Lang" and "Naririnig Mo Ba", both originals by her, and her fantastic covers such as "Rise Up", "Fly Like A Bird" and "Halo". All of her original EP album is fantastic. I saw her live in concert in Atlantic City when she toured the US earlier this year. Her voice was just as clear, powerful, and precise as it is in this video and all the others. I almost forgot, you should listen to the "first take recording of "Power" which was recorded in her home studio. What a powerhouse!

Peter, just so you know Her daddy named her after his favorite singer Alanis Morissette! For this song you missed something she does on a regular basis. She squeaks at times. As for what you should react to next, there are a lot of great ones. For one of her best abilities I suggest her own song Akin Ka Na Lang (in Tagalog) and Fly Like a Bird! 👗👗💓💓👠👠

There are some great singers across this planet and some who are simply mediocre. Sadly, the U.S. music industry seems to only give us too many of the mediocre while ignoring or passing over on this once-in-a-lifetime, extraordinary artist, Morissette Amon. One of the reasons being, in my opinion is, she is not a sell-out to music execs who cookie-cut every artist they "push" on us. The execs want their singers to kowtow to whatever image they believe will make them $$. They make them dress a certain way, sing a certain way, act a certain way and too often, we are given artists who sound the same, whose talents aren't much to "write home about" but the execs put them in front of the right people who make them "idols" and their voices are the only ones we get to hear in the media. I came across this young lady about 4 years ago, here on YT. Up until the very first song I heard her sing, my favorite artist whom I thought no one could ever top, was not even an American. She was Canadian and to me, none could compare. Celine Dion was, is and will always be one of the greatest of my time. But she also had a manager who knew she wasn't mediocre!! Morissette Amon is, for millions who've heard her on YT, the greatest of her generation and still doesn't get the acknowledgement she so deserves. She's a Christian, she's humble, she, more than any I've heard in the last several years, LOVES to sing and her vocals are like no other!!! I appreciate your reaction to her and I'm looking forward to more of them OF HER. Her fans (like me) are always looking for first time reactions to her because watching reactors being so awe stricken takes us all back to the first time we were!! Please give Morissette the coverage she deserves with more reactions to her music. She has earned adoration and should be given the accolades that go with having THE most beautiful voice on earth!!! .

I have been following Morissette Amon for years now and she is an elite international caliber singer (sadly not a worldwide household name). FTR, I am a retired professional music critic with 45+ years experience and Morissette Amon is in my top 5 to 10 female Pop singers of all time. I saw Whitney, Celine, Mariah, Aretha, etc live over the past decades in their Apex peak years. Morissette Amon is their equal.
