The BACKGROUND SANGERS was SANGING. I feel that true vocalists, those that have an ear for a complete sound, always have background singers who can sing on par or even better than the artist. I don’t know if I’m making sense, but I can truly appreciate when the talent isn’t just the artist, but you hear ALL the talent, from the artist, to background, to band, etc.

There are so many vocal queens in this world from gospel, neo soul, rnb, soul and all the other beautiful black music genres, but I have to say Jazmine has such a raw, gritty, rich, sexy, deep, silky, chocolate voice. Her rifts are effortless and her voice has a unique tone and I love she is on the deep scale of vocal. But I know she be bussin quite a few octaves even though she has a lower l vocal. She is my favorite artist literally.

7:28 You just said she's letting you know what she's singing about by HOW she's singing it as well and I just want to say I'm glad that I now know this is an actual thing because on Frank Ocean's Pink Matter when he sings the line 'she's giving me pleasure' then repeats the word 'pleasure' multiple times right after (around the 2:00 minute mark in the song) I always think the way he sings and reaches that crescendo mimics the process we go though of experiencing pleasure or having an orgasm. The way he sings it lets the listener experience his rapture from beginning to end. Even the slowing down of the last pleasure is intentional. It implies the feeling of being boneless and completely satisfied and lazy after an orgasm. Wow! This is amazing stuff!
